Very good experience - great to just drop in. Chicken and ribs very good. Combo not what I expected - a lot of ribs with chicken wings under. Thought in past got leg or breast with combo. Anyway still good. Guinness a bit too cold for my liking but a lot of city centre bars now serve it icy cold. Would still recommend if in town and looking for somewhere without a booking. Staff very friendly. Three of us

The ambiance is the standout, with The Dirty Onion's rich history enveloping visitors in a warm embrace, enhanced by live music and lively chatter. Yardbird's signature chicken is ordered. While beautifully crispy outside and tender inside, its flavor profile was distinct from the richly seasoned dishes I cherish in Asia. It didn't quite meet my flavor expectations, but it was by no means unpalatable. More likely our taste experiences are shaped by our cultural backgrounds, and while this dish may resonate with many, it was a gentle reminder of my culinary roots. In essence, The Dirty Onion and Yardbird is more than a meal; it's an experience. The chicken may not have met my Asian flavor standards, but the vibrant atmosphere ensures a memorable visit, highlighting the beauty of culinary exploration.
