Best Chinese takeaway in Belfast. We have tried loads, and none have delivered the same quality and quantity as Cafe Onion. Beautiful, tasty hot food, very quick delivery and big portions, you won't go hungry. 😁

Called in with my family. My girls aged 3 & 9 loved the chow mein.
Tasty honey chilli chicken & wife had salted chilli King prawns which were nice (she asked could they make them not too spicy).

The owner is friendly, I would recommend coming here if you want to try something new in the Stranmillis area.

This was the first time that we got food from here, even though we had wanted to get some for a while. We had been looking for a Chinese up in Belfast as the one we have is in portadown and we didn't want to be driving all the way there when we are in Belfast, so we decided to go. Because we didn't know what to order, we ordered the mixed box for 2 and honestly it was the best possible outcome. We got to try various things we wouldn't have ordered and we absolutely loved them. We didn't particularly like the duck samosas but that's because we aren't a fan of duck, but the crispy chicken, the dumplings and the spring rolls were to die for. It also came with 2 portions of chips, 2 huge tubs of proper curry, and 3 other types of meat: chicken wings, salted chilli chicken, and salted chilli beef if we're not mistaken. Everything was amazingly cooked and really well seasoned. Not to mention that the lady at the desk was super nice and the food was done quickly!! Will definitely be back!!

Oh my goodness how good is the chilli squid ? We had two and could only manage to share a sizzling beef between us both. Absolutely fabulous food served by the most gracious and charming hostess. Cannot wait to return this little gem on Stranmillis road in South Belfast

2nd time ordering from cafe onion.food arrived still really warm and no spills from the sauces.portion sizes so generous. Very tasty food and deliveres on time . Really cant fault this restaurant .

Really good menu, many different options, and the food is prepared very quickly. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The meals are delicious.
