New Delhi Palace

We used to eat here all the time. This past visit was horrible. The food was not warm, it was way too spicy. Just a very bad visit. Bread was burned. This was one of my favorite restaurants. But, when we go we usually go with family and our bill is always well over 100.00. So that is way too much to spend to get bad food.

I am a doordash delivery driver and I came here for my customers order. I was 8 minutes away driving distance before I got the the restaurant. When I arrived I was told to sit by the door and wait about 10 min. It has been 35 min later and I am still waiting for my customers food. I hope my customer is happy with the food because I am not happy with my wait. I've been waiting for this one order for nearly an hour. I hope things change for future customers. I don't know how the food taste but I hope it's worth waiting .

We just tried this for the first time last week. We were surprised at how nice the interior was, in that this location is in a strip mall. Very nice work inside. We were seated promptly, and politely. The service was good, could have been a tad better. I think one of the owners served us, and I'm generally of the opinion that an owner is better suited as a host, allowing them more flexibility to bounce around (ie; not needing direct attention on tables). Again, good service, no major complaints there. We ordered Samosas to start, they were delicious. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and my wife had the Shrimp Vindaloo. The flavors in both were very, very good. However, and I noted this to the owner when he asked how our meals were, they were both very salty. Like, borderline send it back to the kitchen salty. We didn't send the meals back,and we did finish them (again, flavors were very good) and as I said I mentioned that this was the only problem we'd had with our meals to the owner, and he seemed receptive. We'll definitely give this restaurant another try, and if they get that salt level down, we'll make it a regular stop.
