Mix Poke Bar

SICKENING!!!! Fish was 100% rotten and tasted like trash. I had to puke in my trash can immediately after taking my second bite. Save your money and just eat raw fish from a cheap super market. Freaking disgusting. The bubble tea was good but I’ve had better pokebowls thousands of miles away from the ocean. Just disgusting.

I was hesitant to leave a review until I read other people's experiences that reflected mine. For a place that charges $15 for a regular size poke you would think the food would justify that price. That is not the case for this spot. Firstly, I woke up in the middle of the night last night with FOOD POISIONING. Something about their process needs to change immediately. This is the first time I have ever had this happen and I've ate poke for years at countless different restaurants. On top of that, the food itself was almost disrespectful. The fish (I had salmon) was mid-tier quality at best, their toppings were scant and bland, their spicy sauce was nothing to write home about, and the rice was UNDERCOOKED. Again, for $15 I would expect a decent bowl at best, and they couldn't even do that. But I must add, the STAFF WORKING THE COUNTER WERE EXCELLENT. They were VERY helpful and mindful of the customers and got people's orders out accurately and timely. It's a shame that their labor is being wasted at this restaurant. This place needs a food safety and recipe overhaul if the owner thinks they can get away with churning out sub-par poke for these prices. If you were thinking about going to this place, do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE.

The portion was smaller than other poke places and more pricy. They were stingy about greens. Other places will give more greens for sure. Toppings are ok. This is a small place and the choices are much less than some other poke places. I guess they get a lot of foot traffic due to the location. I probably will not go back there though because I can get better poke elsewhere for sure.
