If you want the best soup dumplings in your home because you can't frequent the restaurant, order these! Shipping is quick, customer service is amazing and the dumplings are easy to make at home and really delicious! After reading/seeing how complex it is to make these, and the care put into ensuring that the dough and soup in them are perfect, I feel so lucky that Xiao Chi Jie will ship these bites of heaven to us in Colorado (and all over). We love the Umami and Crispy Chili sauces too. I'm sure you'll love these as much as we do! ❤️😋

This is more of a fast food style of Chinese food. The xiao long bao are the highlight, while the noodles are quite close to what you would get at a grocery store. There are a few tables to sit at, and the prices are affordable. Ultimately, it's a forgettable place with a small menu that doesn't particularly stand out.

My review is about ordered from their site. We absolutely adore their dumplings and sauces! Completely recommend ordering through their site: you won't be disappointed, and I on the opposite coast received them in really short time. So quickly made up in a bamboo steam basket, though I'm sure there's alternative cooking methods. Once we exhaust our two bags, I foresee a future order! Favorite sauce: Classic Vinegar Husband has taken ownership of the Chili Crisp.

Reviewing mail order Xiaolongbao (not the dining or local delivery experience). I grew up near the original Din Tai Fung in Taiwan when it only had just a few tables, rather than today’s global enterprise; so, I know xiaolongbao! I discovered this option, and it’s about as good of in-home alternative as any I have tried. Very reasonably priced and easy to prepare at home. Because it’s frozen and then steamed, the dough doesn’t have same bounciness as freshly made ones. But these are much better than the sloppy mess of lower quality restaurants, and IMHO, even better than the Din Tai Fung in Sydney.

I ordered these as a birthday gift for my dad. What a great surprise for both of my parents. What do you get for someone who does need anything.....apparently dumplings!!!!! They were prompt in shipping! When I contacted customer service via email they responded that day with a personal message which was wonderful to receive. Great customer service and according to my family delicious dumplings!!!! Will be ordering for ourselves in the near future!!!

It’s a disappointment when revisiting this place after about two years. They used to have authentic Sheng Jian Bao. But now, the bao is fried all over with a soft instead of a crispy base. The dough is thick at some place and personally I am not enjoying that at all. The filling is ok but still not as good as the one they have. You can taste a sense of unfreshness in there.
