Nordstrom Espresso Bar

As someone who has loved the shopping experience at Nordstrom their entire life, today we have never been this disappointed on the service we received from them. We bought a suit for my wedding night last week. When we picked it out, the salesman said they would tailor it the specifications we wanted. We trusted him because we had our reservations on the suit and the fit. Today we went to pick it up, the fit was off and baggy. We asked if they could make adjustments and they told us that it would not be possible because it was tailored to the tightest length. We left disappointed and figured maybe we would make it work. We went to another store and tried it on to the staff there and they were shocked so see the alterations that were done. If this was suit that was of lower quality, I wouldn't mind as much. But this is my wedding suit and we paid almost 1k for it. We brought it back to Nordstrom to see what they could do and they just told us that there is nothing that they would do. They would not make anymore alterations or even refund the alteration job they did. Even the length on the arms were too long. It was close to closing and clearly they wanted us to leave. So we left and don't plan on shopping at Nordstrom again.

I like the robe very much. What I like most is it's labeled as a short robe but I'm 5'2 and it falls a bit below the knee which is just right. So many of the long robes hang to the ankle which I don't like. The fabric is medium weight and nicely absorbent which is a must as I use it for the hot tub. So recommended on buying the Bathrobe in Nodstrom because they are more less expensive.

I don’t know if it’s because they hired a lot of seasonal people for the Anniversary sale or they can’t find experienced people to work, but I shopped for 2 hours and not a single person asked if they could help me, in EVERY department. Most of the young employees were all grouped behind the registers talking to each other (not about work) and on their phones. Everyone acted like they were too busy or uninterested. I’ve been shopping here for 25 years and it has gone downhill. I still shop at Nordstrom because of the quality of clothing and the great return policy.

Do you know it? Nordstrom's hometown is Seattle. By the way, Nordstrom is best department store in my experience. Whenever I need to buy something such as birthday, Valentine day, Christmas gifts, etc.., I always check Nordstrom online and store first. They have pretty much everything that you would buy. Excellent quality stuffs, a lot of brands, great customer service, Always nice, kind, and professional customer care, very good organized order and store pick-up, and easy and quick return and exchange. I highly recommend to register an account Nordstrom and to apply Nordstrom credit card, because you will have many great advantages such as you can buy some really good stuffs on big sale before announced big sale to normal shoppers in public. Also, you will get points whenever you purchase something at Nordstrom with Nordstrom card, then you will have a some credit back like $10, $20, and $40. I recommend to go and check out Nordstrom at Seattle downtown, and Bellevue.
