Whataburger

To say I was frustrated would be putting it nicely. The picture says it all. Is this a hatch grilled chicken sandwich? It was late in the evening. The order taker read me back the order perfectly. When I paid at the window, she read me my order perfectly. I drive off, check my order. It's a cheese burger. (Can't eat beef or it would not be a big deal - dietary restrictions). When I went back for the refund, the manager acted as if I was the problem. After giving me the refund, he asked what else did I need from him? Ummmmm courtesy? respect? to address the issue with his crew? Not an apology because it's not sincere if you have to ask for it. I will say this....the person who took the order - on point. The cashier - super friendly and pleasant. Even with handling the complaint, she was pleasant and I wasn't rude. I did eat the fries and drank the coffee. Said I would pay for that part of the meal. They did give me the full refund anyway. Overall, management and the line were a sheer disappointment.

Stopped at Belton What A Burger on I35 coming home from DPS License office. It was lunchtime and this What A Burger has really got it together. Parking lot was full, about ten cars at the drive thru window. So I went inside to hopefully save time. What I saw was a well coordinated working team of employees moving like a well oiled machine. I was second in line, got my order taken quickly and given a number to wait. In less than five minutes, a very courteous lady brought out the big southern bacon burger and two orders of fries to go. What a great experience ! Packed to the gills with people and at the drive thru and yet everybody got taken care of. Good old What A Burger ! If only the federal government could learn to operate like this lol. And the food was hot and delicious. :)

Ok so I need to start by saying I've been probably the 1% of natural Texans that hates on Whataburger, I've always felt like there was a better option and price point (feel the same about the chain drive in place too), this experience changed my mind. I grabbed a couple burgers and dr pepper shake and had the best burger I have ever had from Whataburger in 38 years! Really great food, friendly drive thru staff, and fast! GREAT JOB

This is the 4th time now. I know it's insanity thinking and trust it would be different every time I go to this Whataburger, but NO! Ordered a number one with double bacon. Normally one order if bacon in a burger at WB is 3 pieces, therefore I was ordering 6 pieces. They repeated my order at the squeak box and then again at the window. I even asked that they make sure it was extra bacon. I got home and they're was only 2 pieces, not even a normal order. I called the Manager and she just said "sorry" and had the tone of voice that she really did not care and stated she will speak to her line cook. Uuuggghhhhhhh. With inflation and high gas prices and higher bacon prices if people paid extra for bacon pay attention and make sure people get what they ask for. This I see as a management and training issue!
