Sargent's Cafe

One of Bends oldest cafes and it's still got its charm. I've eaten here on and off over the last 40 years and always make the pilgrimage back when I'm in town. I love that it's a reminder of what bend used to be like, but filled with every walk of life. The menu is tight and consistent Don't expect any major frills It's just a small hole in the wall diner and I hope it never changes because of that. :)

Excellent food excellent service! The waitress didn’t miss a beat! The reason for the 4 star is because they need to do a better job at answering the phone. I almost didn’t come in due to the rude way they answered the phone when I called to see if they were doing dine in since the website says they are not! We are from out of town and was looking for a good breakfast place so all I had to go by was the website and I know lots of the websites have been wrong so I called. They luckily redeemed themselves in food and personal service.

*diamond in the rough* This little old run down restaurant is literally a diamond hidden In the rough. Great, fast, and friendly service!! The server Came back with anything and everything we asked for. We are a bit picky with that being said, I went in with my boyfriend and we both customized our meals. Both meals came out as we requested. Food was served in a very timely manner. The prices were fair for what we got as well which is great especially since here in bend I’ve noticed you over pay for poor quality food.great little place and we will definitely be returning to try their lunch and dinner menu as well💯💕

You have to try this cafe for breakfast (or, lunch). We stopped at this wonderful local favorite as we were going down the road. Fabulous breakfast!!! Could be one of the best! The sausage, mushroom, onion, and swiss omelet was made perfectly and so delicious. She had ham, swiss, and avocado omelet. Egually as succulent. Both came with pancakes that were so different. You've got to try them. Service was outstanding by Colleen. She was very friendly and attentive. Coffee mugs left full, too. I'm sure everything is made equally well here. You'll love it here!
