I have been coming to village baker for years and I love it!! The chicken salad sandwich i craze everyday! The lemon poppyseed shortbread cookie as well as tomato basil soup with a rosemary roll are amazing. The customer service can be quite rude and sometimes dry pastries but this place still is one of my favorites!

I came for bagels because someone else mentioned bagels, but to clarify THERE ARE NOT BAGELS HERE. Maybe there are if you want to bake them yourself or something. I wanted bagels for breakfast so I didn't try the food, five stars by default.

Best bakery in Bend. The Black Butte Porter bread is amazing. The bread sticks are incredible. It's all good here. You literally can't go wrong no matter what you get.

Best bakery in town..Yes even better than the bird place.. I visited every bakery in Bend in one day and tried a selection from every location. Every location had good bakes, but for truly well crafted bread and pastries. Village bakery deserves a visit..

We just visited the Village Baker in Bend today for lunch. What amazing sandwiches!! The sandwiches were fresh, delicious, healthy and well put together. The service was great. The employees were friendly and even cut up our two different sandwiches into halves for us to share. We purchased two loaves of bread to take home and we ate some as soon we returned back to Idaho. I can already tell the bread won't last long. The Village Baker is a must stop when you're in Bend.
