The Old Boundary Hotel

Cheerful, helpful staff, lovely old pub with some modern features. Plenty of choices on the menu, I chose the slow cooked rolled lamb shoulder which was exceptionally tender & flavoursome, my wife had the seafood pasta which had a good mix of seafood ( thankfully no crab sticks), her comments were all positive. We travelled from Melbourne to try out this hotel & were not disappointed, we look forward to returning soon.

Surprised to see how busy the Old Boundary Hotel was for a Monday night. To top it off, meals were very generous and staff very friendly. Being busy we expected that there would be a long wait for our food, but our meal was presented in a very timely manner. Definitely will be going back to sample other delights on the menu.

Had a lovely meal at the hotel mid-late June. There were four of us – myself, my wife, our 3 year old and our 1 year old. The meals were spectacular – I had the pie of the day – expecting a ramekin with a pastry top, but was pleasantly surprised to receive the full pastry dish! My wife enjoyed the schnitzel, and our daughter had an exciting kids meal. An especially big thank you to the pub who suffered our young children – our efforts were to get in and out early, and having a great meal post our wedding 3 weeks prior was wonderful. Thank you!
