My friend and I came together, she loves it and I'd only ever had take away. We ordered a bao each karrage chicken to share and a ramen each (we were pretty hungry). I had the mushroom bao, it was pleasant but I could only really taste the mayo and the bun. (My friend loved the pork bao) Then came the chicken. While it was perfectly cooked it was very sweet and salty, too heavily flavoured for my taste. (My friend likes strong flavours so again, she was happy). Finally I tried the spicy miso mushroom broth ramen with pumpkin croquette...all I could taste was pepper for the first half, by the time other flavours started breaking through I'd lost interest in eating it. (My friend really liked her ramen) Perhaps other items would have been better but I'm not sure I'll come back to try. The staff were lovely and the food is great for some, but not for me.

Be careful not to walk past or you will miss out on one of Bendigos hidden gems as this modern Japanese fusion restaurant serves amazing food at a reasonable price. The staff is really great, attentive and always good for a quick chat. Each of the dishes and drinks are exceptional in taste, flavour and presentation. Definitely a great place for a nice dinner when in Bendigo.

I can’t believe they aren’t registered in Zomato! Anyway, my friend suggested to go here and you definitely need to book to get a table as the place is quite small. I love the vibe and decor, it’s kinda retro but mixed with neon lights, definitely has Japan feel to it, which is nice in Bendigo to have a cool place like this. The dishes are to share, except you want to have ramen. We had agedashi tofu dish, chinese broccoli, cauliflower karage, and pork belly bao. Everything was beautiful except cauliflower karage, which i found a bit bland and I would love if they are cut smaller so they could be crispier on the outside. The winner dish is the Chinese broccoli, which was swimming in the kewpie mix sauce. You can’t go wrong with kewpie dressing, so that was so nice to have lots of it haha. I also love their agedashi tofu sauce. Overall very happy with the atmosphere, the creativity of the dishes and presentation. Would love to come back.

Food was delish! So many great choices you will feel like to order one of each! Staffs were also lovely and very prompt service, without being rushed at all eventhough they're so busy. Booking is recommended as they're always flat out. Must try their Pork Belly Bao and Chicken Kaarage. Will come back here again for sure.
