Oriental Legend House

l tried the Japanese Chicken curry today. While the flavour was really good, the texture of the meat was very strange and a bit rubbery. The grain of the meat looked unusual too.That having been said l'll give them another go to try a different dish another day, as the noodle dishes looked very good.

You don't have to use chop sticks! Normally I wouldn't eat in a shopping centre, but this place has really fresh Asian food, cooked on the spot. The Nasi Goreng was hot (temperature) with lots of shrimps. The Seafood Pad Thai was likewise hot and very delicious. Price as per December '18 seems to average $13.80 per meal. We keep coming back. So do the locals, with the place constantly busy, which to me says they're doing it right.

Best curry laksa in town. Nothing even comes close. I WILL die on this hill. Before this Laksa, I was just a boy. Now. A man. A man full of Laksa. This laksa is proof that some kind of god exists, and he wants you to be happy. I will name my firstborn after the founder of Oriental legend, based exclusively on this one dish. I have 3 bank accounts. 'Savings', 'child support' and 'Dedicated Laksa fund'. Don't let the names confuse you. They are all dedicated Laksa funds. This laksa restored my nan's vision. And she's never even had Laksa.

This place is amazing. Fantastic, fast and friendly service. Everything cooked fresh. The teriyaki beef rice noodles is amazing! The most tender beef I have ever had (and trust me, I have had a lot). The Nasi Goreng is also another favourite. Since relocating from Melbourne to Bendigo this year I was excited to find a little asian restuarant like this that beats most of my favourite places in Melbourne. Can't wait for my next meal!
