Galito's Flame Grilled Chicken

On a hungry noon, a couple of us stumbled upon Galito's. They are an international brand that serve authentic South African flavours in if not all, majority of their dishes. The ambience here is very subtle. Nothing too fancy, nothing too boring. They can easily seat 80+ people. And for some reason they reminded me of Nando's on walking in. Food & Drinks: First i would like to mention that they have 5 different sauces that are imported, with the perfect blend of South African flavours. They're spicy, tangy, theres a punch of sour and leaves your palate with the hotness from the chilli. All of these definitely worth the try. We had a couple of starters that came in. Of which my top picks were : -> Peri Shrooms : These are served with a crisp portion of garlic toast. The mushrooms marinated in a tomato and onion sauce blend has the perfect punch of flavours to go with the toast. Loved it. -> Chicken Wings : They serve giant pieces of wings marinated in their inhouse sauce. These come as per choice, ranging from mildly hot to very hot. I had the mild and enjoyed it. Chicken was cooked very well and was showered generously with their signature sauce. For main course my picks were: -> The prawn and Chicken Combotada: This is skewered Chicken and Prawns. I generally enjoy Prawns and this was also very well cooked. I quite enjoyed the flavours. -> Chicken Strips and Rice : I thought the rice was very well flavoured and was a good addition to the meal. -> Supremo Chicken Burger : One of the other dishes i really enjoyed. It was super hard for me to eat it in one go given that it is stuffed with 2 good pieces of Chicken, some pineapples and bread, i enjoyed the sweet the pineapples gave to the burger. It complimented it very well. Last but not the least, although there were 3 desserts served, one of them stood out for me. I LOVED the Malva Pudding. The gorgeous pudding smothered with toffee sauce and topped of with Vanilla Ice cream was such a delight. Loved it. Service : We had the chance to speak to the Chef himself who helped us with every dish and i thought that was really nice. We had an idea of the different elements that went into every dish. The team at Galitos have done a great job bringing an international brand into india while maintaining taste and consistency across their outlets everywhere. Was a very warm lunch. Kudos to the team!

The five varieties of sauses catalise the flavors of each and every dish here Grilled veggies rice bowl was one of the best and tastiest I have tasted till date! This place definitely has tasty vegetarians dishes too which did not disappoint me at for dining here

A casual dining place serving African cuisine at affordable rates. For non veg lovers the flame grilled chicken is an in house speciality and is a popular dish. Vegetarians need not be disappointed because there are lots of great options. The flavours are bold and fiery, in literal sense. They claim to use organic products , chicken is marinated for full 24 hours and prepared using in house manufactured sauces. They also have 5 different varieties of sauces to go along with meals and are available for purchase as well.

Here is another food joint in B-town white field is the place to enjoy quality time with your foodie friends. This newly opened food joint which is serving the best authentic african cuisine. My recent visit here was planned with my foodie friends so we headed here and started the food exploration. The main attractions were the grilled chicken liver, Chicken wings, chicken satay, chicken strips and rice, peri peri chicken burger and wrap. Had a good quality time here with attracting interior and super good food items. Looking forward to my next visit!

Famous for its flamed grilled chicken , this place is an absolute delight for both non-veg's as well as vegetarians. Their menu takes care of all the cravings from sweet to spicy ...mild to hot 😁. With freshly prepared and handmade ingredients these African and Portuguese dishes come with some Indian twist and wonderful presentation.

Galito's, A restaurant serving cuisines all the way from Africa. Located in Whitefield right next to the bus depot. This restaurant has very good ambiance and is very spacious. If you are a Veggie, you will still love this place as they have equally amazing veg options. If you are someone who loves chicken, then this place is a paradise. BOLD AFRICAN FLAVORS, is what you see on the door as you enter, and after tasting the food realized, every bit of what they claim is true. The cuisines and the spices used are imported all the way from Africa, they use fresh chicken which is every well marinated, therefore you can it being so soft, tendered and rich in flavor in every bite. My Personal favorite: * Supremo Chicken burger,  2 chicken patty with the spicy peri peri sauce, 2 layers of cheese and a slice of pineapple. Juice burger with sweet and spicy flavors. *Grilled chicken liver - this was actually the first time I actually loved Chicken liver, else not a fan. it packs good spice and amazing flavors and with the garlic bread, the best combination. Malva Pudding - a South African dessert, a very soft sponge pudding topped with caramel sauce,  served hot with a scoop of ice cream. Tried various other chicken and veg dishes, the sauces and flavor are so amazing, every spicy dish has something sweet like pineapple or a different sauce to balance the spice. they have so many more dishes on their menu, cant wait to try them all. #galitoswhitefield

There are few restaurants that come to mind when you specifically want to hog on Chicken. This time I decided to give Galitos a try as I had heard a lot about it from friends. And oh boy, this place turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Now I actually go around recommending this place to people. Location: The restaurant is located deep in Whitefield right opposite Vaidehi hospital. Location was a slight disappointment, but it does have parking outside so that’s a yay. Even though Whitefield is a bit far, this place is definitely worth a drive. Ambiance: The place has a very subtle ambiance, the walls have graffiti’s talking about the variety of sauces. The seating space is huge. Perfect for a big family gathering or a team dinner. Since the tables are well spaced it never feels too clumsy. Service: The service is quick and prompt, the staff is extremely polite and are accommodating to any requests you may have. There are no delays in this department Food: Galitos actually has a unique way of serving the dishes. The chicken they serve is marinated for 24 hours in advance with or without any of their five sauces. When the dish is served on the plate, the spices have been soaked in the chicken and you can taste the blend of all flavours that the chef intended. But there is a catch, vegetarians would be wondering why they should come to the restaurant? Believe it or not, the veg food actually matches up to the level of the non-veg dishes. Must have Items: Cheesy toast, Chicken and herb satay, Chicken espetada, Peri peri chicken burger, supremo chicken burger, Paneer burger, Country Salad, Malwa Pudding with ice cream and Brownie with ice cream. Cost: The dishes are quite reasonably priced. The quality and quantity definitely surpass the cost of the dishes. I actually thought it might have been expensive like its competitors, but that was another surprise. Definitely visit this place once you have a chance.

Was here for a session with blogger friends. Must say this place is a perfect hangout with friends or family. Also many people think it's a place only for non vegetarians. You will be baffled if you check out and try the vegetarian options. The grilled dishes here are just out of the world. On your table. You have an option to choose from 5 sauces. From mild hot and super hot as well. My personal favorite was super hot. You can also purchase the sauce if you like it from the store. Oh and the food here, every dish has it's own charm. Perfectly cooked and very well marinated meat and veg. From starters to main course, every dish was an absolute stand out!! We were also lucky enough to have a kitchen tour. I must say the hygiene is top class and veg and non veg dishes are cooked separately. The perfect end to any meal is it's dessert. And trust me you will go crazy with the Malva pudding. We couldn't stop ourselves from ordering another serving. Was pure Bliss 💜 A visit to this place is must when you are in the mall. I'm sure it won't disappoint at all!

Good in taste. A bit expensive though. Suggest this for your office outing ;) Try their signature flame grilled chicken. The meat was tender and the flavor well absorbed, given their 24 hour marination claim. Just like Nando's you can choose from 4 different levels of Peri Peri hotness depending on your tolerance! Starters were good. Ask the waiter for description since the names are South African. I tried to satay with peanut sauce, which didn't disappoint. Also the prawn skewers. Burgers are a bit generous in size. The meat was well done, but the bread didn't feel fresh or soft.
