Headed here on a friday for dinner. Was fairly empty for a friday night and i suddenly became apprehensive. But hey, the food here changed that for me!
Ambience:
Located on the second floor inside UB city, its a board hard to miss. Mentioned in bold, BBQ'd welcomed us with beautiful fine dine ambience. The place is done well with classy decor and well, its what one would expect inside of UB City!
Food & Drinks:
We started off with some mocktails. They have drinks that look super elegant you'd never want to miss it. I had a Litchi based mocktail which was blue and served in a Champagne glass. Looks can be deceptive but hey, the ones here taste as good as they look!
The wait for the starters was long. But i think it was totally worth, given they have some of the best starters i have had in a long time.
-> Palak Patta Chaat : Looked like a little cacti. It was packed with the tang of chaat. The palak patta was crisp and accompanied with the dahi, meetha and theekha, the chaat worked really well for me.
-> Tandoori Chaap - Mutton meat marinated in the perfect spice mixture, was a delight. I don't think I have ever had mutton that good before. The meet slid off the bone and had such wonderful flavours, there is nothing that beat that dish for me at dinner! Definitely something I'd go back for!
-> Hara Bhara Kebab - Good flavours, just very pasty for my taste. Would like it better if it had a slight crunch.
For main Course we had:
-> Assorted bread basket
-> Butter Chicken - This was something i thoroughly enjoyed. I am a fan of good butter chicken and this could definitely fall in one of the best I've had.
-> Highway Gosht - This mutton curry is hands down the best mutton curry i have had. The flavours are so perfect. It went well with both the roti and the rice! <3 Big fan.
For desserts we had Jalebi with Rabri and Rasmalai. The jalebi was slightly too sweet, but i think worked with Rabri.
All in all a fabulous meal given that i enjoyed majority of their dishes thoroughly! Definitely a place I'd visit with family!
I however wish their service could be a little faster. The staff is actually very accomodative!

They have different package options we had from their recently introduced menu and were So pleased. While I’d recommend everything here are few dishes I thought were beyond excellent;
Legacy Tandoori Mutton Champ:
This was my star dish and a must try, one of the best ‘Chaaps’ I have tried and the marinade is excellent and the meat is cooked to perfection where it just falls of the bone with little effort.
Palak Patta chaat:
It’s served as a first mandatory dish it the way it’s presented makes it look like a cacti, and looks like effort has gone into it. It’s a perfect start to the meal, the crisp deep fried Palak topped with some spices mashed potatoes and balanced with curd absolutely perfect.
Bhatti ki Paneer:
Succulent pieces of pure Delhi Paneer mildly spiced and cooked just right.
Tandoori Mushroom Tikka:
In line with all their dishes the marinade of this one as well was excellent and went perfectly with the char grilled almost smoky yet moist mushroom caps.
BBQ’D Bhatti Chicken Tikka:
I can’t praise this dish enough, the succulent chicken chunks oozing in flavour will capture your heart while satisfying your stomach.
After a truly satisfying course of appetisers with little room left for mains we chose to try only a few dishes that were a specialty;
Highway Gosht:
The absolute star dish in the Maincourse the robust flavours, the mesmerising aroma and the incredible taste made it a truly inspiring and noteworthy dish
BBQ’D Luxury Butter Chicken:
One of the better butter chickens out there, though butter chicken is available easily to find an authentic one is rare and BBQ’D certainly ticks that box, this was accompanied by Laccha Parathas they certainly made a great pairing. Alternatively also tried this with their ‘Special Peas Pulav’ and it went perfectly well with it.
BBQ’D special Dal Makhani:
The perfect comfort food, certainly a refreshing treat and best to order their ‘Bread Basket’ with this one.
Lehsuni Palak Chenna : this was a unique dish for me, one I hadn’t tried before. It has an interesting flavour profile.
After a truly satisfying meal one has to end it with good Dessert BBQ’D has a few classics on offer,
Nukkad Jalebi:
What’s not to love about Jalebi with Rabri? This is like a match made in heaven truly delicious.
The only two average dishes for the evening were ‘Bharwan Tandoori Aloo’ and ‘Rasmalai’ they weren’t bad by any means but after having a streak of amazing dishes they didn’t seem to match up.
Overall i’m so glad that BBQD had a much needed revamp and now has given us a great place to take family and friends for a truly authentic, extravagant and absolutely delicious ‘North Indian’ meal.

Bangalore’s hottest landmark-UB CITY.Located on the same floor of Farzi Cafe just next to it...the place BBQD by MIP(Make in Punjab)delivers some of the finest flavours in town and makes you remember the fine dining experience.
The ambience is done to perfection with great attention given to minute details too. The place can accommodate easily around 150 pax at full capacity and also serves choice of 4 Beers on Tap.
The Service is one issue which should be introspected by the management.Understand fine dine takes time to deliver by the chef but here the patience of the patrons is tested.
The Chef is here is a asset to the restaurant for he brings in a rich culinary skills and whips up some of the best dishes have ever tried. Kudos Chef...your passion speaks.
The AC being turned off repeatedly lead us to some serious heights of suffocation and would appreciate if it can be addressed.
The Starters
1.Palak Patta Chaat -Can a green leaf Chaat be so delicious...try it to believe it. The chaat with curd, pomegranate and chaat masala scored top notch on presentation and importantly on taste.
2. Malai broccoli -I hate to admit, hard core non vegetarian and a hater of broccoli...I fell in love with this dish the way it was prepared. I stand corrected that even veg food can be delicious if cooked right... thanks chef for whipping up a dish so right.
3. Bhatti Paneer Tikka- Glad we tried and was done to perfection with fried onions, right spices and of course Paneer. Superb.
4.Sarso Olive Macchi -Sole Fish at its best... done to tantalise your taste buds that you yearn for more.Must try.
5. Bhatti Murg-Presentation a perfect score and taste amazingly good. The dish speaks great heights about the chefs passion
6. Lehsun Tikka-good.Juicy succulent meat cooked to perfection and served with love.
7. Legacy Tandoori Champ-The tenderness of the meat cooked with the right spices at right temperature is worth the wait.
The Main Course
1.BBQd special butter chicken -CHEF...TAKE A BOW.Oh My Food (OMF)-maybe my words fail to capture the taste of this particular dish...I am lost on words, taste and presentation too. MUST TRY AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
2.Highway Gosht -Supplements well with the Indian breads
3.Rice tossed with royal cumin and green peas - honestly just okay, could have been far better.
The Desserts
1. Mango Rosagolla -Innovative thinking of the chef and the dish delivered the taste...glad we tasted.
2.Stuffed Gulab Jamun -Chocolate filled in center, gulab jamun deep fried with the sugar level just right in the syrup =Heaven on Earth
3.Nukkad Jakebj with lachena rabri- crispy Jalebi with rabri...Wow..scores good on taste and presentation too.
A meal for 2 would cost around Rs 3000-3500/-.Both cards and cash accepted.
Reservations recommended
Restrooms are well maintained.
As of us,would definitely love to come back here for the sheer love of the yummy food.
Great work team...kudos to all the hard working souls over there.

BBQ'D by the house of the Massive Restaurants is back with it's MIP ( made in Punjab) menu. I fell in love with the food. I went here with a bunch of friends and tried the ala carte menu. Everything I tried is excellent but my favorites are palak patta Chaat, papdi chat, Lol tikki (leg of the lamb), malai broccoli, hara bhara kebab and legacy tandoori champ.
For the first time I enjoyed vegetarian food more than the non vegetarian.
If you are a Mutton lover then this is the place you to head towards. The details of the items tried are below mentioned.
Food:- (starters, main course and dessert)
1. Palak Patta Chaat - I have never had such a crispy palak patta Chaat. In spite of the curd contained the Chaat was not soggy at all.
2. Legacy Tandoori Champ (mutton)- rich in aroma and has the perfect blend of spices. The mutton is so soft that it melts in the mouth.
3. Papdi Chaat- delicious and crispy
4. LOL Tikki - Lol is made of mutton and this is one of their signature dishes. Needless to say that this is the best tikki I ever had.
5. Bhatti Paneer - not only does this look gorgeous but tastes great. The paneer is extremely soft and creamy.
6. Hara Bhara Kebab - usually where ever I have tried this dish, it is fried. In BBQD the hara bhara kebab is grilled and there was no oil in it.
7. Tandoori Mushroom Tikka - tandoori mushroom Tikka was stuffed with paneer. It was little spicy but tasted great.
8. Malai Broccoli - I never knew broccoli can be this tasty
9. BBQ'D Bhatti chicken- very flavourful
10. Bharwan Tandoori Aloo- Aloo for a Bengali is always favorite. This dish looked amazing and tasted good.
11. Karachi Kadai Paneer - I found this very spicy 😄
12. BBQ'D Luxury butter Chicken - when they say luxury, they definitely mean it. This is by far the best. One can really feel the richness of butter.
13. BBQ'D Special Dal Makhani
14. Methi Laccha Paratha
15. Butter Naan
16. Gucchi Pulao - gucchi is dried mushrooms. The pulao is made of dried mushrooms stuffed with paneer. They used a specific variety of rice which is known as aeroplane basmati rice. Served with fried garlic raita. This is a must try item.
17. Nukkad Jalebi- most of the places serve rabdi jalebi but the rabdi is so sweet that one cannot have more. The rabdi here is not too sweet and jalebi is crispy.
Beverages:-
1. Hadwana Sikhanjeevi (watermelon)
2. Barman’s Mocktail
3. Khatta Mitha
4. Orange delight
Apart from the ala carte menu, they have excellent buffet spreads also with a separate Chaat counter and live pasta counter.
I highly recommend everyone to try out this restaurant.

"One of the nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating." Punjab is not just on top of the India Map but is also at the helm of affairs when it comes to food. Punjabi delicacies have played a vital role in shaping Indian Cuisine over years and is always one step higher on the culinary ladder. There are very few places that you can blindly trust to always be flawlessly spot on/ top notch any or every time that you dine there apart from showing utmost care to its customers and always seeking to improve for the better. Made in Punjab was an epitome of this and basked in fame, glory and was a huge success at UB City. I was was extremely disappointed when it made way for BBQ’D a few years ago. However Due to popular demand, BBQ'D Has relaunched the exceptionally innovative and unique menu of Made In Punjab. Exhilarating Nostalgic News! as one of my favourite restaurants in Bangalore has been revived and is back once again. The Chefs here are artists whose culinary masterpieces give immense joy.
Food- Presentation is impressive. Mocktail drinks are splendid and refreshing. My pick is the Virgin Mojito. Starters were really appetising and of impeccable quality.
Murg Tikka and Lehsuni Tikka was Outstanding. Seasoned, Marinated superbly. It melts in the mouth with an explosion of goodness.
The Bhatti Ka Murg and Legacy Tandoori Lamb Chops were Remarkable. Soft, fresh, juicy and Nicely grilled to perfection. Their signatures.
LOL Or Leg of Lamb Tikki was incredible. Crispy Fried outer layer with delicious tender meat stuffing along with bone marrow and cheese. A blend of fantastic flavours that excites the palate. Highly recommended.
Two of the brilliant vegetarian dishes that I relished and deserve a special mention is the Palak Papdi Chaat and Malai Brocolli.
The Butter Chicken is phenomenal. Rich, Creamy with an extraordinary taste, texture and consistency. Simply an Intricate and sophisticated dish that I fall short of words to describe. One of the best I’ve had.
Dum Biryani was excellent. Aromatic long rice with succulent pieces of chicken in a piquant masala.
Finally, the Indian sweets for desserts were a pure pleasure to indulge in and a lovely end to a sumptuous meal. Both the Rasmalai and Nukkad Jelabi were amazing with the right balance of sweetness providing heavenly bliss. (9/10)
Service- Exemplary. Wonderful welcome and commendable hospitality. Staff is well organized, attentive, courteous, efficient, quick, friendly, highly trained and knowledgeable. Waiters serve with a smile and go the extra mile to make the guest feel special. Quintessential fine dining experience. Reservation recommended. Mall Parking Available. (9/10)
Ambience- Classy and stylish interior decor that gives a luxury feel. Well planned layout. Spacious arrangement. Comfortable sofas for seating. Marvellous buffet spread. Beautiful jars and Spices on display adds to the attractive look. Fabulous Choice of designer furniture. Exquisite Glass partitions. Spectacular LED Lights. Elegant flooring that matches the wooden ceiling panels. Exuberant atmosphere spreading happy vibes. (8/10)
Overall- (9/10) A delightful experience that was indeed a tantalizing treat for the eyes and an extravagant feast for the tummy. Will definitely visit again to satisfy cravings.

This place is a huge joint in UB City. They are very polite and heartwarming. The only minus part was that the veg food was not upto the mark. The non veg starters were really good but the veg starters were more like fried and oily. Would have loved a little more flavor there. The brewed beers are decent. The place was rather empty it being a holiday. Maybe a lot of people don't know about it. The chicken and lamb had lipsmacking flavors. Again if u r a vegetarian is better to try another place. The staff is very courteous and will suggest you good things. Do listen to it.

This place calls out for a great ambience and gourmet food. Bbq’s special panner tikka is a good choice for an appetizer with chef’s secret recipe. Bbq’d special dal makhni with garlic naan made a good entree.
Jilebi with Rabdi was made to perfection with a piping hot jilebi dipped in rabdi served in a martini glass. Try this when you visit here.
Hefeweizen brew was not that great compared to other places like beer club nearby. IPA was really strong and gave good kick with the food. Very bitter as its meant to be. If you are hardcore brew drinker, try the IPA. Its all home brewed and refreshing.
