Mainland China

I have been here for a Lunch Buffet on a number of Sundays, these last few months. The menu seems to be always the same and most un-Chinese like. There used to be a time when I felt that their food was as close to what one could get in China, but not any more. (I have eaten in China many times) The service by the staff is attentive and always good, which is the redeeming factor about coming here. Mainland China is best avoided and I would not recommend it, if you are looking for proper Chinese food.

I am not a big fan of Chinese cuisine. But this place is exceptional and I love the food here. It is expensive but worth it. The service is fantastic too. The portion size is good. The place is well maintained, and there is plenty of seating. The only small drawback is that the restrooms are on a different floor.

The generous portions of tender chicken and fresh vegetables made it a hearty and satisfying start to our meal. It's a must-try for anyone who appreciates the nuanced flavors of a well-crafted soup. Ginger Chilli Chicken (5/5): The Ginger Chilli Chicken was a true standout. The perfect balance of ginger and chili created a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. The chicken was impeccably tender, and the stir-fry technique preserved its juiciness. It was a spicy yet addictive dish that had us reaching for seconds. Egg and Chicken Fried Rice (5/5): The Egg and Chicken Fried Rice was a masterclass in wok cooking. Each grain of rice was separate and infused with the smoky essence of the wok. The tender chunks of chicken and scrambled eggs were expertly incorporated, resulting in a fragrant and satisfying dish that paired perfectly with the other items on our table. Coconut Caramel Custard (5/5): To end our meal on a sweet note, we chose the Coconut Caramel Custard, and it was a dessert dream come true. The velvety custard had just the right amount of sweetness, and the caramel drizzle on top added a delightful crunch. The subtle coconut flavor was a pleasant surprise, making this dessert an absolute triumph. In summary, Mainland China in Bangalore offers an exquisite dining experience that combines exceptional service with a menu that's a culinary adventure. The quick service and the server's expertise in recommending dishes tailored to our preferences elevated our dining experience. Each dish we tried was a masterpiece, showcasing the skill and dedication of the kitchen staff. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly give this restaurant a 5-star rating and eagerly anticipate my next visit.

My recent visit to Mainland China restaurant left me thoroughly impressed. Subrata and Biswajit's service was exceptional, elevating the dining experience. The standout dishes included the succulent Prawn Hargao and the aromatic Basil Chicken Dumplings, both bursting with flavor. The Singaporean Noodles with Soy Garlic Prawns were a symphony of tastes, and I couldn't get enough of them. Lastly they offered some complimentary Jasmine Green Tea which was for me atleast a great way to end the meals. However, there was a minor letdown with the sushi; it didn't quite meet the high standards set by the other dishes. Nonetheless, the overall experience was fantastic. I would give it a solid 4 out of 5. The restaurant's ambiance was another highlight. Its beauty and eye-catching decor added to the overall charm of the evening. Mainland China offers a delightful blend of excellent service, a wide array of mouthwatering dishes, and a captivating atmosphere. It's a place I'd happily return to for an enjoyable dining experience.

One of the best places to have wonderful Chinese food and a few Japanese dishes too. Love the sushi options here but not as authentic as your other Japanese restaurants. They've restarted their lunch buffet option, which was put on hold for a while now. You have some wonderful options across both Veg and Nonveg categories. The staff are very kind and well mannered. The ambience is good, kid friendly too. Overall a wonderful place.
