Just Wow!! Huge spread. We had gone for lunch on a Monday afternoon. It was a Lobster buffet...what a buffet... Too many items that were absolutely lip smacking. Desserts were superb. One definitely needs to have a huge appetite to try all the dishes here. One of the best buffets I've ever been to in Bengaluru.

Service was a bit slow. I had to call twice for getting water bottles, twice to get the dishes removed, wait for 25 mins to get my luggae from room to lobby and the spa receptionist gets smitten by foreigners and doesn't remember to offer Indians even a place to sit in the waiting area while she attends to foreigners. The service staff in the lobby and room service were friendly and jolly. The food is excellent. Spa service is good. Good options in breakfast. I wanted to have hotpot at Shang Palace but didn't have the time for it. It is reviewed as the best in Bangalore.

It's a good place to stay. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and elegantly furnished with high-quality linens and modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was large and luxurious, with a deep soaking tub and rain shower that left me feeling pampered and relaxed. The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. The spa was an oasis of tranquility, with a wide range of treatments and services that left me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The fitness center was well-equipped and spacious, with state-of-the-art equipment that made my workouts enjoyable and effective. The hotel's restaurants and bars were exceptional, with a diverse range of cuisines and flavors that catered to every palate. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and cooked-to-order dishes that were simply delicious.

Went here in 2020 for a business trip for 2 nights. Everything was immaculate. I was stunned by all the cooks preparing breakfast dishes in front of you. super clean, kind staff and even though I did not pay on my own, I would have, as they have a fair price/value (coming from Europe where you pay easily 2-4x the price for such a hotel).

The hotel provided a comfortable stay with well-appointed rooms and courteous staff. The amenities, including a gym and a restaurant, added to the overall experience. However, there were minor issues with Wi-Fi connectivity. Despite that, the attentive service and clean facilities make it a recommendable choice for a pleasant stay. I'm very happy 😊😀

Not really sure what the attitude at the restaurant is all about. Walking around with such an air of arrogance. Was supposed to check in, but the restaurant just made me not want to to that. Had a few cousins staying there and they had the same experience. The concierge is the real deal. That was the hospitality I was expecting in a place like Shangri-La. Your staff really need to be schooled on how to treat guests. Not sure who that manager was at the restaurant at the ground floor, but he really needs a change in attitude.
