SouthIndies is good vegetarian restaurant providing breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well as name suggest the cuisine is South Indian but it doesn't doesn't justify the name due to its different menu on different days or different times. Today it was the dosa and appam day, have heard in other days they provide idili and vada too. A full justification to name would be to provide all varieties at all time thus helping customer choose what he wants to have on that day. Quality, quantity and taste of food is great, so is service and people are polite and helpful. Overall a satisfied food experience. Must try from the items that I tried is appam and stew, battered pineapple fry, paniyaram (steamed rice flour) with cocunut chutny and peanut chutny, curd rice, elaneer paysam (tender coconut kheer) and gulab jamoons.

Excellent spread of food. 6 starters, live panipuri section,live dosa section and many items in main course and about 7 to 8 desserts. The place needs little maintenance especially the entrance area. Appam with stew and ellneeru payasam were the real show stoppers.. the service at the place was fantastic and the waiter refused to accept any tips...for the first time we came across someone not accepting tips... commendable. Recommended place for visit esp for South Indian food..

Good South themed vegetarian restaurant located at the heart of Indiranagar. We visited the place for Lunch on a Friday, had already booked tables but don't think there would have been any waiting either way. Valet parking is available outside so parking won't be a headache. We had the Buffet, which consisted of good variety of starters served at the table. Then, there is a small self service Chaat cum panipuri stall. Main Course also had good variety. Although would say nothing in the food really stood out. Service just a tad bit slow but otherwise a nice experience.

There was a Andhra special buffet fest going on. Not much of a veg food buff and def not in Andhra food, but this place did suprise me with a good verity of foods and dishes. With that the desserts served were really impressive, with all having a Indian flavour to them. The staff were really nice as well, and ensured that we were comfortable and attended to.

Southindies as name suggest is a Southern India cuisine. 4 southern states cuisine is served here. It's situated on 100FT road indiranagar which helps identify the place faster. It's a very cozy place on 1st floor. I tried their lunch buffet along with my friends and we liked the food. In buffet they have multiple starters, app and, dosas followed by main course. Their drumstick soup is outstanding. Dessert section is limited. SERVICE: Also service staff is very humble. PARKING: Limited valet parking
