Sree Vishnu Bhavan

Quite an old restaurant in a new complex. Familiar with this for past over 4 decades and the restaurant then was facing KG road at ground floor. Currently restaurant’s entry is from cross road. There’s self service area in the ground floor while there’s service area at the first floor for families. Good restaurant for South Indian dishes. There’s display of photos on the walls which take you to nostalgia!

Deserves for more than 5 star 🌟 .. delicious tasty Pudi masala dosa, Bisi bele bath & Vada. Must try* It's very old & famous restaurant.. was good to hear our Grand PA's used to visit here regularly as coffee is famous here. We can see the pictures of old Bangalore inside restaurant - service hall in first floor Chutney pudi here is just awesome & leaves a taste on your tongue for long. We usually go to Vishnu Bhavan when ever we go to pothys or chikpet. Service is really good & fast though it's crowded. Good family restaurant..

Old Timers favorite vegetarian hotel in this busy area. I still remember it was difficult to get a seat here. I used to Love the Kharabath and Masaley Dosey here, but their most sought after delight was Bread toast and banana sauce,,, yummy... I am happy to see, the legacy is carried over... Must visit one of these days... I did visit today with my family. Bread toast retains the same old taste. Masaley Dosey and Rava Idly were good. Set Dosey was very tasty. Coffee retains it's original flavor...

Very Famous Hotel of Yesteryears. Famous for Bread Toast. Idly Sambar and Masala Dosa were also used to good. Always crowded with hectic activity. Now the Self Service Section is located in the Ground Floor. For Service Hall, We have to go upstairs through a way which confuses us. Bread Toast, Idly Sambar and Masala Dosa are Good Even now. Ambience of Service Hall is not that great with not so bright lighting. Service is somewhat Slow and lethargic. In a nutshell, this Hotel though Good is only a poor shadow of it's former self.
