I've been coming here since 2001. Hands down, best chaat on this side of Bangalore. Pani Puri and dahi Puri are absolute bangers.

Gangotree is vintage Bangalore. Been going there for decades for paani puri and chaat. Its an institution for a ton of families who in the 80s and 90s only had Gangotree to satisfy their thirst for chaat.
If you go with kids, don't miss Eleganza next door.

Was thrilled to find the Chennai-famous Gangotree in Blore. The Pani puri here is comparable - cold Pani puri. This was the first gangotree outlet that opened in 1986 or so. Madras branch opened in 1994.
The menu here is quite limited unlike Chennai one. N the seating is outside the store on plastic stools in the corridor.
Popular Gangotree Chennai sweets like Rajbhog are not available here (unless you place a bulk order).
4 stars- simply cos i don't have to travel all the way to Cathedral road, for the cold matka Pani puri.

We loved all the chats and sweets served in this tiny location. Esp loved the rasagolla chat, japmuri and Pani Puri. We also loved the pickles and snacks we took home from here.

One of the older india snack shops located in the heart of Bangalore. Due the current situation the crowds are not there. However the great taste remains. If you like Dhai Batha Puri. Pani Puri , samosa chat, Jalmuri andnif you have a sweet tooth , do visit Gangotree. Car Parking on Sunday is a breeze as of now.
Nice place to enjoy a quick snack. Space is limited and may need to wait. However i would say dont miss trying it out if you have not already.

Lovely place especially if you're as golfer and you know people there!
Prices are unbelievably low! Food is delicious and the service is good too! The ambiance could have been better, but the rest of the stuff makes up for the ambiance!
