Maravanthe, Garuda Mall, Food Court

Maravanthe' Konkan Coastal food outlet at Garuda Mall provides good food. They have several Mangalorian / Konkan specialities and must say they are doing good. The food is awesome, the portion is sufficient and it's certainly VFM. Only drawback is service. Since it's in Food Court, we need to pick up the food from counter. Rest everything is just perfect.

Great non-veg Mangalorean food option in Garuda Mall inside the Food Court. Ambience: (4/5) This is part of the food court in Garuda mall so there is little influence that the chain has on the layout or seating here. Nonetheless, there is a good amount of seating right next to the outlet as well as in a circular portion which was a better place to sit. At Maravanthe the food is displayed outside so one can get a good idea of what is being ordered which is nice. Food: (4/5) I ordered the egg ghee roast with neer dosa. Granted that the beer dosa was not up to the mark of places like Coast II Coast, but nonetheless something like this being made in a good court was quite good. The egg ghee roast was excellent. Will have to drop by and try the chicken one next time. The flavours were authentic and overall felt really fresh. Summary: (4/5) Looking for mangalorean food while at Garuda, then look no further, this is a great place to get that seafood and coast food cravings of yours satisfied.
