Review of Mangalore Lunch Home: I recently dined at Mangalore Lunch Home, and I must say, the Mangalorean-style food was truly awesome. If you're a seafood lover, you'll find a variety of delicious choices to satisfy your cravings. The staff members were not only attentive but also friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, it's worth noting that there is a lack of parking space, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially during peak hours. It is a small everyday lunch home just like the name says. You will get good variety of food, good taste and at an affordable price. For college goers and job holders it is a perfect setting. Even tourists can get a taste of everyday food here. We ordered the chicken sukka, squid pepper fry, jeera rice, parota, neer dosa, fish curry, rava fish fry and ko Kokum juice. The juice was tangy and a great palette cleanser. Fish curry was with a coconut base and tasty. Jeera rice came normally with a side of daal. Rava fry was well fried. Porota and neer dosa also lived up to their name. Sukka was amazing. The pepper fry squid was good but it was dry and the masala had not gone to the squid itself making it slight rubbery. Squid sukka probably would have been a better option. Overall cost for two persons came to only 1000. We had a full stomach.
