When we went - Lunch on a busy Friday afternoon. What we had - Dosa, idli vada, and curd vada in the restaurant and took home kaju masala. What we liked - The food was quite tasty. The plain dosas were one of the best we had in Bangalore. The prices were reasonable given the prime location of the restaurant. The service was quick for the South Indian dishes. What we thought could be improved - The sitting area inside feels cramped and hence stuffy. The tables are closely arranged so as to stack more tables in the small dining area. I guess the idea is to accommodate as many customers as possible in one go (the place gets super crowded in the afternoon), but it becomes uncomfortable to sit, eat, and move around. The person who served our table was not forthcoming. We had to ask to get a menu, search for him to place the order, remind him multiple times to get our parcel, and even request him (several times!) for the bill. Curd vada and kaju masala were more sweeter than what we have had in other places. Suits me, but might not be for everyone's taste. Overall, the food here is excellent and worth the price. The service is quick. Good place to grab a quick bite, but not for a relaxed, catching-up-with-friends kind of lunch.

This place has amazing food and Probably the best vegetarian restaurant in and around M.G. Road. We enjoyed each of the dishes we tried here. We ordered Tomato Soup, North Indian melas, south indian meals, panneer tikka, masala poori chat, Butter scotch milk shake. All are very tasty and the quantity provided was fine. Highly recommend for vegeterian.

What's more, Paakshala boasts ample seating with around 35 tables, each thoughtfully furnished with at least three chairs, ensuring comfort and spaciousness for every guest. The ambiance is a symphony of comfort, with soft, ambient music creating a soothing backdrop. The melody of famous Indian songs adds to the charm of this culinary haven. Remarkably, Paakshala manages to strike the right balance between quality and affordability. When compared to other cafes, the prices here are surprisingly reasonable. Regarding parking, I opted for the nearby MG Road parking area, which was convenient. In summary, Paakshala is a culinary treasure that promises an unforgettable dining experience for vegetarians and should not be missed.

Probably the best vegetarian restaurant in and around M.G. Road. We enjoyed each of the dishes we tried here . The rava masala dosa and sambar vada were exceptionally good. The service was a little slow however the taste of the food covered it up. The filter coffee is another must try here. This place looks hygienic and can be a regular quick hunger fix spot if you are in and around M.G. road .
