Billy's Downtown Diner

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Billy’s Diner. My boyfriend and I drove a half hour to try them out and were definitely not disappointed. I got the “Florentine” special and it was to die for. We also got the “Cannoli Tower” to split; Simply decadent and a must try if you’re craving something sweet. Everything was delicious, service was great, we sat outside and dined on a gorgeous day. We’ll no doubt be back next time we’re in town!

Food was very low quality and basically inedible. I had the billy cristo; the French toast was mushy and bland, the eggs were brown, and the bacon taste like it came from wawa. My friend got scrambled eggs with homefries that came out like mashed potatoes. They charged $3.75 for apple juice and came out with a kids sized bottle of Mott’s. We both had about 3 bites of the food and the server was never back to ask us how everything was. When she did come back and our food was barely touched she just gave us the check. After speaking to a manager about the quality of the food and the competence of the server, all they offered was an apology and 30% off the bill. Will not be returning or recommending this to anyone.

One of the most disgusting food I ate in a long time. The food was with so much butter and so greasy that it makes ne to throw my stomach. Why someone will put so much butter in default. I just couldn't keep eating this discusting omlette let a long i thre my stmach out. I just left it on the counter. Never again! 👎👎👎👎👎

We came in Saturday afternoon about an hour before closing (2:00). Note that they don't serve lunch on weekends. The service was poor. Forgot orders and didn't check on us. It was clear that with an hour left, they were starting to close up. The food was good but nothing I would come back for. Best things were the french toast and the chili.

Waited just a few minutes for a small table in the rear by the bathrooms as it was busy at 12:30 on a Sunday. Service was prompt. Asked for 2 eggs over medium and crispy potatoes. Was told that she would notate "crispy". Potatoes came out no better than a pile of mashed potatoes with not the slightest bit of color on them. Eggs were borderline raw and as runny and soft as you could possibly pass as cooked eggs. Gross! Complete waste of time. Oh but look at how many good reviews there are. Makes me wonder how many people just don't bother leaving one. $9.51 for one slice of French toast (good) amd a small glass of OJ. Won't be back.
