Barberitos

I've always loved Barberitos. It was the first time going to this location, but it was worth the longer drive. This particular location offered amazing portions of delicious and fresh food! My kid is incredibly picky, but ALWAYS eats Barberitos and will actively ask for it. The only detractor was how hot it was inside the building at the time, but still a great experience.

Showed up at 7pm on Sunday and it was terrible. Out of chicken, steak, salsa, beans. It was disgusting and dirty. Food was cold and crusty. When I talked to the manager, he said it's not his fault, the morning shift didn't prep anything. I will not be back and suggest no one eats at the disgusting place . I have never seen a dirtier restaurant. I wish the health inspector shows up, they will shut them down. Food was icecold as well. Wish I read the other reviews, I would never have came here .

I have been a regular customer before and since they moved to this new location. In the past it has been good. Lately it has been awful...and I will be going to the Barberitos in Athens. First...the service is terrible. The people working there look unhappy and/or have their face glued to their phone. The counter and cooking area always looks cluttered and dirty. The dining area and drink area is always sticky and looks dirty. I went in last week...and was told that I could only order a bowl or nachos because both of the steamers were broken. So I left. I went in today and it was dirty and several tables needed busing...floors were sticky...trash was overflowing. We ordered food anyway...the chips were thick and chewy. I was told "we have new chips now"...they made fresh ones...and they were like chewing cardboard. The chicken was hard as a rock and cold and hard/chewy.

Staff was ok. Problem is the restaurant was filthy. Rug & floors filthy, handful of tables filthy. I decided to dine in before I actually noticed the conditions. I figured it would be ok since it wasn't busy. Being that there were at least 4 crew members working, it was never busy and the restaurant was still in such poor condition...🙃👎...oof I wish I read the reviews first...seems filth is the norm here...ugh I was at my table dining for a quite a while, watching TV on my phone because there wasn't one in the lobby. I thought there was one there last time I visited. I'm grateful I didn't need to use the restroom. I can only imagine how unattended those are. Oh, I can't forget the napkins...even the napkins were dirty! I swear I pulled out several napkins and they all had a greasy handprint on them, yuck...😫😑

A group of us from my office decided to order our Friday lunch from this location. We won't be doing it again. They put chicken in my STEAK mini burrito, the chicken in my STEAK burrito and the chicken in other meals was hard, nasty, and impossible to eat. The chips were cold AND stale. And NOONE got salsa for their cold, stale chips. Never again. Which sucks for them because we always have a bunch of orders each week.
