Mogul Waffle

Great skiing at Big White. We had a wonderful Christmas in April with over 30 inches of new snow in a week. Terrain is awesome - from beginner to world class expert. Steeps, breathtaking views, tree skiing, blue cruisers, and big terrain park - there's something for everyone. I love the bubble chair lifts with heated seats. The village is small but has lots of character. We stayed at the Huntley Lodge and it was great, nicely updated. Will be back again soon.

Huge! You would need several days to ski the whole resort, there are lots of various terrains and excellent lift and staff. The mountain is beautiful and you gotta go to the top if it's a sunny day! The base is not very good this year considering it's already March, I stuck on rocks multiple times when ski on seemingly untouched powder. Very easy to find parking and shuttles are very frequent if you park far from main base.

The Good - The Huntley Lodge is very nice and comfortable. The pool/hot tub area is nice however the jets were not working in one of the hot tubs. - The breakfast was great! Plenty of choices and a great meal to start the day. - The Peaks Restaurant and Cabin Bar & Grill were outstanding. Great dinners at both. - Loved the Exchange area to get a quick bite, drink, and pickup groceries - however the lines for checkout was long and slow. - The demo shop was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. - Ski valet guys were friendly and considerate. - The skiing was fantastic! Lift staff were great! The Bad - Bell people didn't ask if we needed help with our bags when we arrived. We weren't directed to the ramp to roll our bags up. - Check-in person had a bad attitude and was not helpful. Didn't solve problems especially for those who are first-timers. - A lot of room noise from floor above. Walls and ceilings don't limit noise well. - A lot of misdirection and miscommunication from ski rental shop when returning ski equipment. - Ski instructors are great but more helpful when either be asked to help or being paid for a lesson. We had a great time at Big Sky and would recommend it. I believe there may be need for additional training in soft customer service skills.

We stayed at the Lodge and had a great experience, the breakfast was delicious. First time in MT and not much snow for December but still decent conditions. Loved their new lift, so comfortable and easy to get on and off. Nice hot tubs at the Lodge but you are limited to the hot tubs in whatever building you are staying in.

Big Sky is my home mountain - love riding there. The variety of runs and different levels of skiing will make sure everyone has a great time. The food and drinks are on point as well, and hanging out in the lodge is always fun. If you want to stay in Big Sky there are all sorts of accommodations. Can't wait for the next amazing season here!

Conditions were so so. I ended up going over fresh snow that was actually small rocks. Pretty scary moment. The lifts were amazing only issue is they are so fast that you ski a ton more rides but gas out much faster. I will come back but I will make sure they have snow. $200 lift ticket, lunch for 6 people $130, parking $60. And base repair $50 bucks. I feel you should not charge aS much because you were thin all over the place.

Short lift lines, great views, long runs. However lifts (which are high end with bubbles and heated seats) seemed to stop for extended periods frequently. Also more small rocks on the runs then I've ever seen in my 200+ days skiing other resorts in the Rockies. With good coverage I'm sure it's one of the best, just may want to look elsewhere if it hasn't snowed a ton.
