Denny's

OK, Denny's is Denny's. Don't expect gourmet. But I had good meals at the last two Denny's. 27th St in Billings and in Durango, CO. My wife and I both had country fried steak, with white gravy and eggs, a couple of days ago. Very good. I liked in Texas many years. Chicken Fried, Country Fried steaks were a speciality there. I haven't had decent ones since, not here in Billings. But Denny's has very good Country Fried Steaks.

Very slow service. It took about an hour to receive 2 orders of pancakes, biscuit and gravy breakfast, and the country fried steak and eggs. All of the food was cold except the eggs. The butter wasn't melted on the toast. Chocolate chips on pancakes were not melted. Our server (the manager) told us the cook had a temper tantrum. The older server that was refilling our coffee had touched the carafe to all the coffee cups at my table and then did the same thing at the next 3 tables. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Will definitely NOT return to this restaurant!

Horrible experience. We asked for our toast to be lighty toasted, they came burnt. I got my pancakes and they were burnt As well and had hair in them. The people at the table next to me said they had hair in there food as well and that the cook took a bite out of there toast. We arrived there 6pm Wednesday night and it was almost 7pm til we got our food. We ordered the nachos in a half order maybe 7 chips and a spoon full of beef and a pinch of cheese. The waitress Heather was nice at first then my wife asked for a refill and was rude about it. Then continued to be til the end of our visit. The cook should be fired for serving food like they did. That's not Okay by any means.
