Tarantinos Pizza

First - the Gyro pizza was good. I liked the texture of the crust and although at first glance the amount of toppings was underwhelming, it turned out to be a decent ratio once we started eating. I'd order Tarantinos pizza again but by delivery only...because the eat in dining area is filthy. Every surface, including the napkin dispensers and parmesan shakers were covered with dust, crusted with food and hair, and little dead flies populated the sills of windows smeared with god-knows-what. The food prep area appeared to be much more hygienic than the dining area and the staff was friendly. Had the dining area not been so startlingly gross, I would have given 5 stars.

My boyfriend and I had half pepperoni and half taco, I was a bit confused with the taco pizza having just black beans, onions, tomatoes and steak and some peppers. Just didn't seem like a taco pizza, although it was good. The setting was small and the hot wings were hardly even mild, it was good chicken though. Overall it was still pretty good!

We had a very positive experience here. Got the special (2 slices + soda for $6) and it was delicious. Piping hot pizza (loved the crust--chewy but not cardboard, I leasantly crisp on bottom and edges); just the right ratio of sauce to crust. Service people were pleasant and wait was short. Glad we gave them a try--will be back!

Ordered takeout a few days ago, staff was sufficiently confused about making a sausage and mushroom pizza - they call it a build-your-own. Never had that much discussion over ordering a two topping pizza. The crusts left a bit to be desired, they were more bread and cardboard like rather than what you would get with a hand tossed pizza crust. Overall it wasn't bad but there are better options out there for the money.
