The Project Lounge

I have been visiting this place for a year. Every time I've placed an order at this place it has come out exactly as ordered. This is by far the best Dive Bar I've ever been in. I work in a similar bar in Huntsville, AL and this is by far a much superior version. As I have stated in previous reviews I am a chef and by nature I dissect did that I eat/ feed my family. I have ordered 6 plus burgers too take home to the family to eat. I have dealt with family members "Craving"the burgers so much that I ultimately relent and just go monthly to get burgers (sometimes several times a month). The Tuna Steak is always cooked to perfection and very tasty. The drinks are cold and made properly. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is always on top of their craft. Thank you to The Project Lounge for being an amazing piece of my past year. Looking forward to coming here even more often as I transition to a permanent resident. If you haven't given this place a visit yet stop wasting your time and get there as soon as you're done reading this.

HANDS DOWN BEST BURGER IN TOWN- Our friends who said this was the burger spot were absolutely correct. They told us it was a local spot and a hole in the wall. It is, and was delicious. The bartender/server Lisa was fantastic. She had a big rush when we arrived and handled it like a pro. The bar has no windows and is dark and moody and smoky. We grabbed our burgers to go to enjoy the weather. The burgers were big, juicy, super flavorful, fresh ingredients all around from the toppings to the bread. The steak sandwich was good but lots of fatty bites took away from it. Really unique potato salad was also good.

Hole I'm the wall/locals spot. It's super dark until your eyes adjust. They pour a good drink and have fantastic steak sandwiches. Small menu but anything u order is just delicious! They are know for their burgers and everything is grilled on a small grill right behind the bar. Sorry no fryer but it is of no concern the burgers can hold their own and you won't feel jipped..highly recommend if you are in the mood for some local conversation and a full belly.

This place is a local place hidden from the tourists. Order the steak sandwich it's spectacular with just the perfect amount of everything. Truly appreciated the staff and patrons knowledge and advice ordering a delicious dish. Make this a must see if you find yourself anywhere with in driving distance. You will be plenty pleased with the price, atmosphere, and service!
