Bootleggers Pizza

Chicago style pizza, I get the philly cheesesteak pizza, and a calzone, onion rings are good, cheese sticks are solid. Pizza was really tasty, lots of cheese and steak. Never had a bad pizza from them. Plus the bar stays open late if you want a drink, I think the dining area closes at 9pm and the bar at midnight.

The place was empty, so we had our choice of seats but that didn't help with the over powering smell of cigarette smoke. They allow smoking in the bar, which is open to the restaurant. They went from a five star to a four because of the smoke. The burgers were delicious, the fries hot and fresh. The beer was cold. The waitress did not know her menu and had to go check and ask twice. They went from a four star to a three for that. I enjoyed their food, but unfortunately will not be going back

The establishment feels dirty and grimy as a permanent film of cigarette smoke has settled on every surface. I debated back and forth between 2 and 3 stars since half stars aren't an option. The pizza itself was...okay. Thin cardboard-like bland crust topped with your choice of ingredients. While I most likely won't return, I can see the appeal for others. If you keep your expectations low, you won't be disappointed.

FIVE STARS! more like TEN STARS! My husband and I had a misunderstanding during our first encounter as we placed an order for delivery on one of the busiest weekends of the year for the Coast. The owner, Jeff, took matters in to his hands immediately and reached out to correct the issue. He took care of the situation and definitely won us over. We're proud to say we'll be long time, loyal and repeat customers. And.... the pizza by the way, FANTASTIC! If you're looking for a tasty, friendly, customer oriented pizza joint, Bootlegger's Pizzeria is your spot. Hands down! If the pizza here doesn't fix your cravings, I don't know what will!?!

It's not horrible but it's good. The service is really nice. Fired mushrooms are a little wet on the inside, the garlic stick knot things are more like butter soaked French fries. The pizza has a really thin crust, and for a Chicago pizza place they do not have deep dish. Salad bar is nice fresh items. But if you're looking for a place for some brews and games it's good.

The food was UHHHMAZING! Best burger I've ever had (the Bootlegger). The atmosphere is so fun and unique. Server was very sweet and food was hot, inexpensive, and delicious. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a smoke-friendly establishment and I dislike smoke while I'm eating. I recommend without kids.

Pizza was okay but certainly not worth the almost 30 min wait for it. We went in on a Tuesday night around 7 and were the 3rd table in the place. One table already had pizza and were actively eating so I'm not sure why out pizza took so long. We also didn't see any take out orders being picked up that would make the long wait time understandable. I was also slightly confused about a Chicago gangster themed pizza place that didn't have a deep dish on the menu at all and the salad bar was a disappointment as far as choice goes. I think they would do better branding as a bar with good pizza
