Golden Nugget Casino Hotel

The place is massive and very welcoming. The parking was decent for as busy as it was. A bit of confusion on how to get to the hotel part but after looking closer, there were signs. The room was nice and clean.could have used more towels but perfect the room I stayed in had the water in the shower running and not able to turn off. It wasn't pouring but a steady flow. I called the front desk to report it and they offered to send someone right away although I declined as I was ready to relax after a long drive. The casino was clean and roomy. Didn't feel overcrowded. We were not able to get anyone to bring us drinks while gambling but it was fun. We got drinks from one of the many bars on site and they were great! Overall a great experience. Highly recommend the pink Cadillac margaritas from the sports bar

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the hotel room was nice. Everything else was not good. On day 1, we had to do SO much walking just to find the entrance to the Hotel. It seems that it’s setup that you must walk through the casino in order to check in. Signs need to be displayed so people can know where to go. Day 2, we woke up expecting hot showers, but the water was off. The hotel staff were no help in regards to that issue. I called 2 times in 3 hours and got 2 different explanations from 2 different people. Finally at the end of our trip, we wanted to take a simple photo before we left. The security guard that we kindly asked to take a group photo of us declined quickly to take a picture and asked for our identification as if she’s law enforcement. My sister is 19 so she explained things to us that we already knew about the policy in the casino. After paying over $400 for 2 nights, I expected better. Will not be returning.

this hotel is an excellent choice when visiting the coast. the staff are very friendly, the casino lively and the rooms and facilities are excellent. well kept, clean, stylish and up to date. great employees all over. it can be a bit pricey, but the prices reflect those of other properties in the area and are worth more than most of the other properties, better deals on weekdays. Very nice pool area also. Good drinks, lots of fun.

I totally did not catch our dealers name at the Roulette table on the main floor. For management, she was at the table at 4pm on 4/6/2020. Absolutely wonderful experience and she was phenomenal! Me and my wife had a blast chatting and betting money at the table. Our dealer was first class and I hope you retain amazing employees like that! Overall a great experience!

The room was nice. The beds were somewhat comfortable (it all depends on preference). There aren't enough people working at the casino so it was horrible trying to eat at any of the restaurants and don't even think about asking for clean towels. It took them 2 days, with repeated requests, to get my towels. The safe in our room was "the only one that hadn't been fixed and/or updated" as per the guy who had to force it to open. They do not clean the rooms if you are a long stay guest. I do understand the restrictions due to covid. Overall, this is a nice place to stay but it does have a few issues.

Stopped in for a quick trip to gamble and lunch. The casino had a great selection of slots and games. We were there early in the day so most everything we wanted to play was available. We ate lunch at Michael Patrick's sports bar. Food was great, I ordered the grouper sandwich. The piece of fish was huge and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

Great place. Have visited many casinos on the gulf coast. This was our first time at Golden nugget. The service staff was awesome, the rooms were very nice. The casino was pretty big. They have a great free play promotion for new players club members and we were able to earn quite a bit of free slot play. Plenty of good restaurants to choose from. Great experience overall. A week or so after our visit we ended up getting offers for free hotel nights, free slot play and food credits. Will be back soon, highly recommended! Make sure you sign up for the players club first thing!

Casino staff was nice but much was missing. Half the restaurants were closed. They say they have 24 hour food but they don't. When we checked in the bell hop service was closed and so was the valet service. We had to park and walk forever with four days of luggage and no cart. As for house keeping they don't offer it. If you need towels or something you have to call for it. I would highly recommend you look for something else.
