This is a great little place on the 202 hwy in the country. You can sit outside and enjoy the apple trees, hops and they said they have grapes but I didn't venture out to find them. I think it used to be the old general store in Birkenfeld and they have beautiful hardwood floors near where a band plays on Saturday nights. We stopped in for an early dinner and I had the mushroom Swiss burger and my mom had the chicken burger. Both delish! Full bar here and their beer selection is good. I'll be going back again soon!

This place is a gem--intimate music venue in the country. Beer was cold, place was clean, food was good, and folks were friendly. I'm glad we stopped there for lunch. We had lunch during sound check for a band that was playing later that afternoon, and it was like getting a free concert.

A great drive to get there, and you are rewarded with a fantastic live music venue. The owners, Mike & Wendy are friendly, the place is welcoming, and the food is great. Blue and Americana bands play here. Sound and acoustics are really good.

Great little Hole in the Wall Tavern out in the Sticks with awesome burgers and great music on the weekends. Hamburgers are little spendy but they're worth it. Like to go there at least once or twice every summer, it's worth the drive. Unfortunately haven't been back since they changed hands so hoping it still the same

Arrived at 11:55 on Sunday.......waited until 12:15 banged on door several minutes. Left very hungry, ate in Vernonia. Door locked and music was blasting inside........somebody was having a good time.

A fantastic in a rustic setting to see greater Portlabd music. Definitely worth going the extra distance out of Portland to spend some time at.
