Very nice food
Only small complaint is it’s very busy and long wait for food (but worth the wait!)

The food and service has dramatically dropped over the years. Quality has gone poor and staff are careless, not even reading notes from customers Uber/just eat orders.
Had missing items from my order, chicken burger was dry and no effort to put it together. Chips were rock hard and overcooked. One sauce tub was provided with 3 meals.
Upgrading my stars to 4*
We tried le codfather after a dissappointing previous visit, we ordered take out which we really enjoyed. The chips were fresh, all notes were listen to, so we appreciate it. Donner meat isn't the best, needs more bbq sauce tbh. The niblets were very flavoursome & fresh. Overall decent and would eat here again. 😋

The fish and chips are one of the best in Birmingham.
It's great the restaurant does not sell Coke, Sprite and Fanta which support companies that support the genocide in Palestine.

Glad this place re opened, had a mix of things, fish was absolutely delicious, chips always lovely, the southern chicken was decent, the lemon and herb donner was lovely, the chicken fillet was not nice at all very rubbery, but overall I enjoyed it. Just a couple of points there Is no seating so take out only and they accept card now which is super.

I haven't a bad word to say— they get it right every time I come. Staff are all friendly and have exceptional customer service. Food is made freshly each time and tastes banging! For me it's the no. 1 rated chippy in the area, and my new local. Appreciate it guys

On our first visit here we were served by brother mahmood. What a fantastic person to have serving customers. He was accomodating and went above and beyond for us. Didnt make us feel like we were holding up the queue or as if we were annoying. To summise, outstanding customer service, large portions and to top it off, the food was tasty!! We will definitely be back. Brother Mahmood, thank you!!

The OG Le Codfather is simply THE BEST in brum - never ever have they disappointed.
They were closed for a year or two - I stopped eating lol
Glad they’re open and business as usual.
I recommend the following - toasted chicken wrap with a stripe of hot chilli , chips topped with some bbq donner 😋
