Nando's

Have dined here both before Covid and after and I would recommend. Young, friendly and efficient staff. The restaurant is clean and easy to navigate and post Covid, has effective safety protocols in place - smartphone needed to take photo of QR code menu which you then order and pay from. The service is streamlined and personal despite a lot of interaction on your phone. Happy to be dining back in to enjoy succulent Nando’s chicken and peri peri salted fries. Although the current menu is reduced, the options are good. Generous drinks/wine menu; the Portugal white is highly recommended. Thanks Nando’s, won’t hesitate to come back.

The taste was spectacular, just missing the seats, because of current covid19 restrictions and city went into tier3 so restaurants open only for take away & delivery... it quite different to eat the hot chicken wungs in nando's than taking the hot food out in the cold weather... perfect taste - missing the eat-in Note: the photo was from my 1st day in the city

Not sure what’s happened to Nando’s. Used to love it. Had to get a take out after not being able to get a table. The chicken which I had hot didn’t have much flavour and it was greasy, how can grilled chicken be greasy?! It also looked very pale on one side like it hadn’t been turned in the grill. It made me feel a bit sick after to be honest. The rice was also clumpy. You’ve gone downhill.

Came here on a double date with my partner and her friend. (Not seen in 9 months) The chicken was exceptionally good and I enjoyed it. The staff at the door (due to covid-19) where quite rude. We had a long wait for dessert and we had to query where it was when we did we was meet with attitude and was asked for proof of purchase. This made us feel insulted like we were trying to con them. When the brownies finally came we were disappointed to say the least. Mine was gone in three bites. I wont be returning to this Nando's.
