Gabriel's

I am an international student from Canada living in Harborne and always go to Gabriel’s for the best burgers and chips at great prices. His food is always fresh and delicious. They have some of the best food I have had in the UK. Gabriel himself is positive and has great energy with his customers. I will definitely miss this place when I go back to Canada.

BEST CHIPPY in the world? Could well be! I absolutely lov ethe chips here ate Gabriels. Why? Well it starts with the easy parking despite being at the top of the busy Harborne High Street. With some sapces on the road adn additional spaces on the car park (just remember to enter your car reg on the tablet on the counter!). Then the actual shop is very smartly presented and clean. You can even see the food being prepared and made. The staff are so nice and polite taht you feel you stepped in your own kitchen. And they dress clean and tidy which is so important for me. A#Bu the food is where it actually is. The chips are without doubt the best I have ever had and I have eaten all over the world. They are the best potatoes for sure and they are cooked to perfection. Neither undercooked nor overly heated. And they are always fresh. I just couldnt resist in putting my box of chips on the ground outside the shop to capture a photo of the delicious chips. YUMMY YUMMY, HAPPY TUMMY :)

Everytime I have visited Gabriel's with my housemate we both have agreed that this is one of the best fish and chip shops. Portion size to price ratio is amazing, they always give us a little something extra (be it an extra curry sauce or a few extra chips). The quality of the food is excellent and still piping hot by time we've walked home and I like sauce with my food but I've not really had to add extra because I feel flavour is really good. Service is always friendly and helpful. Just be mindful it's cash only when order in store but there is a cashpoint nearby

I love this chips shop so much that I can't describe it. It's owned by a lovely couple with good manners and kindness. I would always get scallops and if it takes a long time to make it they would always give me an extra one or something else for me to enjoy while I wait. I can't thank them enough for this Joyful experience they make me have because of their delicious food and friendly service.

Went here the other day despite living round the corner I rarely go there, I always thort the ower looks a bit moody went there on Thursday evening for some fish and roe (student so I was bit low on money) Owner was kind enough to give me a chips and change my 3 fish bites to six. Thankyou :) and the chips and batter where really nice! Will be back!
