Tierra

Was a pleasant enough experience. I had the weekend tacos, the meat was a little burnt but still pretty tasty. Had a side of frijoles that were very very beany. Plants looked a little sad on the windowsill they perhaps need a water. But these were the only negatives I can't really fault it too much. Would recommend and visit again. Staff were very friendly.

I went here for lunch a few weeks ago when my sibling came up to visit for the weekend. The tacos here are genuinely some of the best I've had in the UK, although I do think they are a little expensive for the portion size. The staff were friendly and happy to explain the menu to us. The venue is nicely decorated but when we went it seemed very dark in there - they did have lights on but it was as though they were dimmed to the lowest level.

Went here for my birthday and was very pleased with my choice. Server was really friendly and able to explain the dishes to us, and really knew his stuff. He even asked about not having Coriander, which for those of us who feel it tastes like soap is really appreciated! Food was incredible, served quickly. Try all the Salsas, they're really different. Beef Tacos were great, dips excellent and the Frijoles were the star of the show, I could have eaten six bowls of it. The prices are very fair, service great and food is brilliant. Will be going again!

An absolute must visit for any taco lover, this place is the ONE! There's so much flavour in everything. I would advise anyone to try Al Pastor with the mezcal pineapple. They also have amazing cocktails with mezcal and also orange wine which is a rare find still. Service is always brilliant too, can't go wrong

One of the best casual places to dine in Birmingham. The food is authentic and delicious with a menu that is diverse enough without being overwhelming. My most recent experience on the 20th was no different. Specials were extremely good as usual and every dish tasty. The cherry on top was the lovely service by Zach & Lydia that earned compliments from my family of 4.

This is the perfect place to catch up with your friends for some real gooood food and drinks. We did book in advance but the cosy atmosphere and great service made us not want to leave. Food was so good! It is clear that Tierra do not compromise on the quality and freshness of their food...it was evident in every bite. You could taste how fresh and decadent the prawns were and the homestyle touch on the guacamole, salsa and tortilla made them absolutely delightful with our drinks. We ordered the truffle cheese hush puppies as well as the patatas on the side. Delish! We went for the pork carnitas and beef barbacoa and thoroughly enjoyed the well seasoned and balanced morsels. However, we did find that the beef tacos were a little oiler. Tierra is a great place to go for a little Mexican adventure in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter and we loved that it is also on the Independent Birmingham App. A must try! One of the best restaurants I've been to in Birmingham in a long time. Cosy venue with a really great atmosphere amongst customers and staff. Felt very relaxed and at home. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs including providing their own recommendations on what to order. Went down an absolute treat. Tierra will go down as one of my favourite restaurants. 10/10 will come again.
