Mahony's Steakhouse

Came out for dinner for my husbands birthday. My 9month old has had a little cold so was wanting alot of 1 2 1, the staff couldnt have been more helpful, offering food for her, a high chair or pram, i was feeding her when he brought my food out, the waiter said, i will keep your dinner warm for you til you are finished! I couldnt believe the kindness and the lengths they went to to make my family and i feel calm. Especially when the baby was crying. Would 100% recommend to come here x

Walked in no booking. Just in time for a deal. Really good meal. Pizza, chicken peri peri, fish with sauce, chicken with peppercorn sauce. All excellent. Had to wait a bit longer while they changed the fryer oil for a side of gluten free chips. Delicious. The wait was a bit long but incredible service. They gave us free coffees because we waited so long. No point in picking holes. There were lots of families there with noisy children but we could see why. Great food and service. We've been there many times before and we'll be back again. Thankyou

food was really good. the beef stew was great and the bread topper, buttery, light, flaky, delicious. but the best part was the comradery of the manager on duty. he shared with us invaluable tourist information about traffic laws and customs there in Scotland as well as answered many questions for us and was a very genuine and likable person. it was really fun talking with him. we tried Haggis for the first time here. being from the states we have a very negative opinion of Scotland's favorite dish, our opinions based mostly on a clip from the movie Independence Day. To our surprise, it wasn't that bad and although it's not something I would ever order, I wouldn't shy away from it either. Bottom line: Good food. Great service. Great friendship, albeit short.

What a fantastic experience in the Briggs. Relaxing and beautiful decor, staff we're lovely and efficient. Getting to the food l have been in many restaurants in my time, but this one of the best,what a great selection of food on the menu ,but the presentation and the taste of each course was fantastic. Will definitely be back. 👌
