A fun store with as nicely decorated (Halloween decorations this time) waiting and sitting area inside as it does a wide, creative (and widely named) selection of donuts. The most famous donut and company namesake is the Bearscat donut that looks like what it is named but gratefully tastes otherwise. My favorite is the Almond Joy. I know they are expanding and now have stores in Mandan and Minot, ND and Salem, OR. I also know the owners are generous benefactors to the needy in the community.

I like donuts. A lot. Some may say too much. These are among the finest donuts I've ever consumed. A veritable cornucopia of donuts appeal to the tastes of a wide variety of donut connoisseurs. It looks a little rough around the edges on the inside, but I suspect it is because the proprietors are focused on one thing, and one thing only: making delicious donuts.

Their selection of donuts is as amazing as the actual taste! For the last two times I came to Bismarck, I was extremely pleased with the taste and selection of these do items. My favorite - the almond joy!

This place was a nice surprise! I really enjoyed their Kramer donut (not so much their chocolate bearscat donut). Woulda liked to have tried the Twix one too, but they didn’t have any made the day I called. Based on my tepid interaction with the staff, I had braced myself for mediocre donuts at best. But whew, the donuts were gooey and moist and everything Sandy’s (in Fargo) hadn’t been earlier that day. Glad we gave Bearscat a try. 😊
