Elks Lodge

Every time I come here the food is just disappointing. The waiting staff is nice, polite, and prompt, but the kitchen staff really needs some work. I ordered "tomato pesto linguini" and got oily noodles with blackened tomatoes. The chicken was cooked well, so that was at least nice. They were out of soup, so we only got salad as sides. The menu says soup or salad as a side. Multiple menu items were out and we had to order something else instead. Not sure why they are out of menu items on a slow saturday. The restaurant does has a nice setup, though. Very spacious and can comfortably sit multiple parties of 12+. It was slow tonight so we actually got out food in a decent period of time too. They had someone playing guitar in the dining area while we were eating and I was very happy with the music, it was nice. The bathroom also had a quiet open sitting area that is great to unwind for children of overwhelmed. Overall only 2 stars because food is really the only the determining factor I make in going to a restaurant. If I just wanted drink I would come back but the food always sucks.

Class of 1970 reunion being held here. Having a fantastic time. Years ago my parents, my two sisters use to go there to eat on the odd Friday or Saturday night. Food was fantastic. Also we were members and had access to the sauna and exercise room. In high school I was the coat and hat check girl. Lol too funny. When I was 25 I worked there and enjoyed that privilege too. Good memories sure hope this place can be around for a long time.

We stayed in the Elks RV parking area for 5 days and had dinner and drinks during our stay. The RV area had no hook ups and there was a LOT of traffic noise. It sounded like a race track. If you're able to tune out the noise everything else was good. Access to many miles of nice bike trails from the parking lot. MOSTLY though, I give 5 stars because the people are so nice there. We also, enjoyed the entertainment by Kip Attaway.. very talented singer/comedian.
