The Pier Restaurant And Bar

Pretty relaxing place to grab a drink or snack. There are plenty of tv’s inside to watch your favorite sports, an outdoor patio to enjoy the weather and a landing dock for boaters. Haven’t tried the food but the menu looks pretty good. Being new to the area, I could see this as being a regular in my rotation of places to relax on a weekend afternoon.

This bar and restaurant offers so much. If you haven't been there recently, it's changed a lot. There is twice as much patio area to come off the river or just sit in the sun. Don't forget to feed the carp as any little French fry or piece of bread will bring them to the surface. There is a large private room upstairs great for company, small group, or private events equipped with private bar. If you're looking for more to do they have poker, pull tabs, pool, darts, and more. And that's just the location. Come here if you want a real drink. They muddle and create drinks to your order. Due to the light staff, when people come off the river in droves, service will slow down as the pour for tops of 8+ people. Definitely check out, always very chill.

Overall an ok restaurant with a great location. Food is pretty simple fare and they have a very nice deck. However they have seemed understaffed every time I have been there over the past couple years and it can get crazy busy at times during the summer when the weather is nice as they are one of the only places with food on the river, but even when not crazy busy it has taken 45-60 minutes to get any food and the front staff was constantly running around trying to keep up.

Food is good for a bar, but nothing spectacular. sometimes they get backed up and the service gets kind of slow... took nearly 15 minutes just to get our drinks after ordering one time. Also the gas pump closes a 9pm sharply. Took a boat there to eat and got done paying our check at 9:02 pm. Asked for gas and they said no. That was half the reason we came to eat there that day.
