If you want to have the best dining experience in town you have to go to B&P. The staff, food, and atmosphere is all top notch. It's our favorite spot for special occasions. We went for my birthday this week and were absolutely spoiled by the team. The experience itself is a lot of food but always great! You get the opportunity to try a lot of flavor combinations you wouldn't normally get elsewhere. The vegetables are usually seasonal but last night we had peppers, mashed potatoes, and carrots. The tuna was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about the time and consideration they take to make sure your dish is balanced and delicious. For dessert the chef made an apple turnover paired with salted carmel ice cream. Thank you so much to Bethany and the team for taking such good care of us!

Dinner was phenomenal. Best oysters I've had anywhere - ever. The crispy bluegill sandwich was delicious- I woke up thinking about it today. I docked them a few stars for service. We were seated promptly, but waited 15-20 min for our drink orders to be taken. We saw other tables who were seated after us have their orders taken before us. Felt like we were forgotten and had to ask the person who was refilling our waters if someone was going to come take our order. After we ordered, service was still really slow. They did have the option to order from your table on the app, which I did when I wanted more oysters (seriously, so good!) and those came up super quick. The next time we go, I'll stick with the self service ordering option. The place was absolutely gorgeous though and so intimate. glad to have a place like this in town!!

We have dined at Bakery & Pickle many times now and every single time is amazing! When we go, we always get the experience, which is by far the best of both worlds. You get so much food, but everything is hand picked by the chef. You get the best of the best on the menu and with how much food you get, it was worth so much more than the price per person. The service is always amazing and very astute. It does not matter what you get from the menu, everything is delicious! 10/10 would recommend.

Cool place. Great atmosphere. The food was great and there was an interesting drink menu. The major knock was the service. Our waiter ignored us. We had to flag him down. The place wasn't that busy. We wondered if he felt we weren't worth the bother since we ordered the lower-priced entrees. (Had he checked in, we may have ordered more drinks.) We'll try the place again and hopefully we'll have more attentive service.

One of the most romantic restaurant in the Bloomington IL area. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a date night. We ordered Anju Flatbread, Greenhouse salad and Burger. All three dishes were delicious. Ingredients tasted fresh and organic. The staff is super friendly. I would highly recommend this place. Note: i would recommend doing a reservation in advance because the place gets filled up really fast. Also, i am not sure if they have walking.

Overall experience was amazing! Very beautiful hole in the wall kind of place! We went for a friend's birthday celebration! Would have never known it was there! Loved the cool way to get in! Food was amazing! Heads up! Don't order as many appetizers as us! We got full before our meals even came! Overall i loved it! Highly recommend for a date night really cool experience!!!

Wow! What wonderful ambience with historical flair. They even have live piano music playing the whole time! They provide the perfect amount of attention and friendliness in their service and the food is delicious! I enjoyed eating foods and drinks in unexpected combinations and preparations. They also tell you about everything they are serving from what it is to how it's prepared and from where it came. The food is prepared for groups of two to share. Be prepared to pay at least $100 or more for two people if you get drinks and any add-ons. I recommend The Bee's Knees and the pickle bowl for a drink and extra. The whole experience is definitely worth every penny!
