Steak 'n Shake

Ordered takeout so I did not rate atmosphere. The order was incorrect and caught before giving it to me by the manager. He advised that it would be a longer wait to prepare a new order. He provided me a large milkshake of my choice for the inconvenience which was appreciated! Food was fresh and delicious as always.

This place used to be pretty bad admittedly, but I love their garlic steak burgers and chili so I decided to try again. They have vastly improved! Every time I’ve gone recently, the food has looked perfect (no smooshed buns and sloppy chili spills) and the drive thru line has moved at a much better pace. The workers on the speaker and at the window are so kind!! Other than the store randomly being closed once when I tried to go, blocking the order speaker with a wheelbarrow or something similar, it’s been a very reliable place to spend money and grab some dinner!

Cheap eats, takes a bit to get your food because everything is cooked fresh to order but well worth the wait. This trip they were very busy and there was a bit of confusion with my order. I didn't get my fries but I had a large onion rings to take care of my hunger. Unfortunately the last chicken tender I ate had a bone in it.. Not exactly sure how it got past the quality control at the factory but it did. Luckily I didn't choke on it, that may have been a tragedy for myself and steak n shake.
