Blu Boy Chocolate

So, their desserts are really good here. However, it does tend to get busy and they were understaffed--they had one young lady trying to do everything and we had to wait at least 20 minutes before our order was complete. I hope that was just fluke, because I would still recommend trying the turtle or cookie sundae. They currently have the street blocked off and it would be a nice place to go outdoors to eat/hangout.

All I can say is WOW!! I've had cupcakes from this bakery before that were 🔥🔥🔥 After enjoying a delicious lunch with one of my best friends I decided to stop in here and grab some of these delectable chocolates. It was very difficult to decide which ones to get as they have a lot of options. I went for the 10 chocolate gift box (though the gift is for me 😎). They are not cheap, but I really wanted to try these, particularly because they have such a unique choice flavors. They gave me a free chocolate since I had so much trouble deciding which chocolate to choose for the last one. Also, if you bring your box back in the next time they will give you a free chocolate. Meaning if I bring my box that holds 10 chocolates in and buy 10 more I will get 11. I decided to try the blueberry and the mint. OMG! It is almost impossible to choose which one is better. They are both so good! I tried the blueberry first and then finished with the mint. I am very very happy. I will update as I try the other flavors.

I don’t know if I just caught them on a bad day but everything I tried was bad or mediocre/over priced. I’ve never had a bad macaron until I tried the ones here. One was extremely chewy and had way too much coconut extract and the other had the texture of a cracker and had no flavor at all. The dark chocolate brownie was horrible. The crème brûlée was good but the employee who packaged mine didn’t bother to actually torch the top. So it was really just custard. Also way over priced for what they give you. My total was almost $30, plus I tipped $3 in cash. Totally not worth it and I won’t be back.

Cute cafe nook. Coffee is priced competitively and was on par with many other cafes. Taste was smooth and rich. Overall, most items feel overpriced but were worth the splurge. Seating is minimal so don't plan on taking a group of 4 or more here. Chocolates are beautiful and elegant looking. Exotic flavors available are a plus! Macarons are the traditional dessert flare that pair well with any coffee. The best part of the entire experience was their chocolate. $6 for 2 pieces, $11 for 5 pieces, and so on. Expensive. Worth a try. I loved the Lavender and dulche de luche. Good quality choclates but not so much that I would spend the money for them again.

Lovely little place with amazing bakery items. The chocolates taste absolutely delicious, and are beautifully made. They're especially perfect as gifts (I've gifted them to multiple people), as they have nice designs on them and can be gift wrapped. Overall this a great (albeit small) place, and anything you buy from here is worth every penny.

I tried three different items. One was pretty good, one was okay, and the other wasn't good at all. The one that was good had great taste, texture, moisture, and balance of sweetness. The other two went down from there. Maybe I'll go back to try something else, who knows. I won't rush over there though.

I've had a good cup of tea from this place, but they can't make a decent cup of hot chocolate. The server boasted about their method of melting solid chocolate, which sounded rich and delicious! She must have used unsweetened chocolate though, because all three of our drinks were terribly bitter. After paying $15 for three drinks and leaving a 20% tip, we were told "That's just the way we do it". Plus, the drinks weren't even hot enough to melt sugar to sweeten them up. The sugar just settled on the bottom. We left our drinks on the counter. Very disappointing on my daughter's birthday.
