only place in bloomington that consistently makes well-balanced milk drinks. tea is always nice, the baked goods are consistently delicious, and the ambience is great (rarely crowded!). customer service has also always been good there are better places for coffee (needmore, hopscotch), but the quality of your drink will depend heavily on the barista. not a problem here. Also, the espresso is very well-priced here (doesn't mean it's good but...), so if your main purpose for consuming coffee is just to get caffeine, there you go

Since stumbling upon Cup and Kettle over a year ago, I have been a loyal customer. The owners have decorated the shop beautifully with pastel colors, local art, and cute teapots. They have a huge selection of teas made in-house (see attached pictures). I love the Turmeric Ginger tea when I want a beverage that is non-caffeinated or if I'm feeling under the weather. The Lavender Earl Grey is another favorite and goes great with cakes featured from the local bakery, Primally Inspired Eats. I attached a raspberry tea cake I got when some friends were visiting Bloomington. We had a fun time catching up over afternoon tea. I like how Cup and Kettle offers sample sizes, one oz. bags, three oz, bags, and pound sized bags. I have been able to try all kinds of teas this way at an affordable price. Highly recommend this amazing shop. :)
