Juannita's Restaurant

The food was decent but it took about an hour once we ordered our food. They were slow it was a Sunday night. Maybe 4 other folks eating. The waitress never checked on us never filled out drinks. She seemed lost. We wont be back. I had been years ago and it was run much better. If you are okay waiting awhile and chatting then eating you will enjoy.

Went here on the recommendation of a friend who said it's the best Mexican food in town. Man something must have happened since he last ate here because it was not a good experience. Firstly we stood waiting to be seated for a good 10 minutes while the hostess walked by us. When we were finally seated and had ordered, the waitress told us what we had ordere may no longer be available and went to go check. About 10 minutes later, she came by and asked if she had taken our order. We said yes but she was supposed to check to see if the order was available. She said it was. Then the chef came out to the confirm the order which the waitress had apparently written down wrong. When the food came, it came without silverware. What it did come with was an apology from the chef because it was overdone. He said he would recook it if I wanted. I was on lunch break and didn't have time for him to recook it. I've never had my food come with an apology before nor have I had a waitress ask if she's taken the order. Definitely a new experience.
