Steak 'n Shake

Another kiosk ordering experience and zero customer service as they just holler out your number. I even said, "Thank you," and no response. The dining area was not clean, and we had to wipe our own tables. The food was good and fresh. We ordered the Butter burgers with fries, cheese sauce, and a side of Frisco Sauce. Everything was good, but the Frisco sauce wasn't great. It's like a sweeter blended version of Big Mac sauce.

Many were dining in, had to order from kiosk then told there was no dining in? Not sure if a new manager was there and didn't quite have things figured out or what. Odd that other restaurants are allowing dining in. No staff on site except cooks and was a mess. Should have taped off dining area so people couldn't access area.should have had sign at entrance stating no dining in.

I liked the updated location with the kiosk screens to order! An older lady didn’t know how to use the new screens and the man on the grill (Tuesday afternoon, around 4:15 pm) helped her with the entire order, it was really nice to see. I would definitely go back as the service is a lot faster now without dedicated servers! Good job Steak ‘n Shake!

Came during the Happy Hour promotion but was not given happy hour pricing. Ordered a large bowl of chili and was given the smaller cup size. Forgot to ask for sauce(I ordered a meal combo) but was told sauce would be extra at the window, which would be fine for extra, but I’d assume a meal combo would entitle me to at least two packets of something for my fries. I already left the drive through so I’m not gonna go back for the right size chili or argue about about the sauce, but I will not be coming back to this location. Also burgers cold.

I decided to take my beagles for a ride today to steak and shake…. They erupted as soon as the lady at the window tried to collect my payment and she was so nice, took several tries for me to understand she was asking if we would like a pup cup due to the craziness of my dogs. They loved it, our food was perfect also. 3 times I’ve been here and all three have been positive experiences!!

Definitely struggling trying to regroup. Hopefully things will smooth out for them and they can catch up on maintenance and hire a bit more help to get rolling again. Only order at kiosk, don't think they take cash upfront. Shake was supposed to be cookies and cream, might have been... Food was good, dine in more like McDonald's or Burger King. Employees were busy but cool.
