Nice portions. Lots of filling in the quesadillas. Horchata was very good. Nice atmosphere. Great staff. The only thing I didn't like was the tortilla shells and that's pretty minimal

The food was ready really fast. It was so good. I had the Chile Rellano meal with rice and beans. The Chile Rellanos were huge and had a lot of cheese. I definitely recommend!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant to go to. I love the chips and salsa and I also start out with queso. (It's the best) and after I order the wait is worth it! They bring my food out in decent time and it's always amazing. I highly suggest this place if you've never been.

El Ranchero is definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in Bloomington. The food is delicious and always hot and fresh (not to mention the huge portions!), the wait is never too long, and the employees are always helpful. I've taken several out of towners to El Ranchero and all of them have agreed that it is top-tier!

It was ok but nothing great. The food was not what any of us had hoped for. It didn't taste authentic at all. The rice looked like it had frozen mixed veggies in it . The service was ok. Not a place I would go to again.

Had the chicken and steak fajitas. Alot of food, had more chicken and steak than tortillas. Good flavor and decent price. Dish comes with rice and beans, guacamole and sour cream.
