Cafe Ami

Great spot for a quick and tasty lunch near the school of music. Each meal comes with a miso soup and salad which are both good. All of the sushi rolls are decently priced and are always fresh. The spicy tuna was my favorite so far. I have also had the bento box B which was a good amount of food and all of it was delicious.

One of my favorite places for the most delicious sushi in town! We love ordering the chefs special sushi rolls, bibimbap, and ramen. One really cannot go wrong with any of the selections. Make sure to check out their specials that they have each day for 15% off! Staff is also super friendly! Will continue to visit and get our sushi craving fix!

Chashu Remen tastes bad. Noodles are soggy, broth tastes weird (far from the typical Chashu I've had) Chashu pork is so rough and not tender/juicy at all. Feeling sick after eating it. The price is also absurdly high for a product of this quality. We were also served by a rude waitress. We waited for a few minutes for them to seat us, and when no one arrived we went ahead and chose a table for ourselves; the waitress arrived after a while and told us (with an unfriendly tone) not to do it again next time. There would definitely be no next time for us.

Some of the food is tasty. The sushi rolls were much larger than other places but you only get six pieces per roll. The short rib is good. However the beef udon was very salty for me. It was almost like salt water and beef bouillon. The noodles were average but ruined by all the salt. Also it was small and pretty expensive. I would only go there for some rice dishes and their sushi to be honest. Also, their menus are old. Some prices are inaccurate in that they're way more expensive than it says on the menu. This is bad for anyone who doesn't want to spend too much (eg: every college student). Their main appeal is that it's close to campus for students. I have definitely eaten better food for lower prices.

I think I have a new fav Japanese /Korean restaurant in the area! The food is amazing -super fresh and tastes fantastic. I was impressed by the bibimbap in a hot stone bowl - looks and tastes amazing 🤩 The salmon scone roll is one of the best I’ve ever had, and Alaska is also fresh and yummy. My partner got Udon soup with tempura and was happy too. In a nutshell, highly recommended!
