Carlo’s Bakery

We went cause hey why not...it is supposed to be like the best bakery ever right....WRONG!!!! We spent way too much on super dry nasty cake, where the frosting fell off. My kids hated it. I gave it a one, as the life saver was the customer service. But I might as well just handed 40.00 bucks out to people walking by. Seriously, the worst cake I have ever eaten and it was our first outing out as a family in months!!!!!

I went here the other day because the young guy working was so helpful. I got 3 cannoli one was chocolate and they were good. I didn't eat them all at once to see how they hold up over a day or so in the fridge. It was good. But my thing is 3 cannoli we're almost $15 seem over priced for cannolis but I guess

My daughter stopped by MOA and brought it home. She got the lobster tail, cannoli and a sprinkled sugar cookie. The Lobster tail was good, a bit hard on the outside, but still good. The issue was with the cannoli. The filing was very off-putting, it was very granular, not a good mouth feel. I even had her call the store to see if maybe it was made wrong and just a bad batch. But, the girl at the store said they are supposed to be like that because they use ricotta. I'm sorry but I've had a few before from other places that also use ricotta, they have never been granular like that.

I was a smidge disappointed that there wasn’t more here. They did not have much in the display cases and it was pretty expensive for what it was. That said, the staff was really nice and inviting and the store was clean and bright. If you are in the neighborhood, drop by but I wouldn’t make a special trip.
