This is a small business with good food, low prices, and a little character, which some will find a little divey (llastic utensils and dishes) and others might find charming. For the price and quality, I'd recommend it. It seems that some folks report variable quality in service here. I ate in and personally experienced great service from the gentleman taking orders. I wonder if some of the reported challenges with service may have been moreso challenges with communication.

It was suggested to me to stop in Kong Garden for a bite to eat. I waited a little bit in the lobby for someone to come out and assist as there is no one at the register. I ordered sesame seed chicken and fried rice. I asked him if there sesame seed chicken was the dark sauce. I got my food and left did not check it when I get home to my surprise it was the orange sauce over the chicken. Set the set back to where I had it the rice did not taste like fried rice as it had little to no flavor. The sesame seed chicken was far from what I expected to pay for. I tried to eat it but the rice was overcooked and under flavored and both items were cold. Now I only drove a short distance to get home. I was so disappointed. It took 1 15 to 20 minutes to prepare the food so I assumed that it was going to be hot I should have known that it wasn't when I carried the bag out. But it was late and I was hungry. Lesson learned if you don't know the place where you're going to eat and you're hungry take your tail home and eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Ordered salt and pepper shrimp. Shrimp came cooked with shell on and vein still in all the seasoning was on the outside of the shell which had to be peeled off with the legs. The peppers and onions had almost zero flavor other than salt and pepper. Egg rolls and fried dumplings were good. Very disappointed with the main dish
