Winn-dixie

The store is immaculate. The workers are knowledgeable and polite. It was worth traveling 35 miles to get to. I went there to buy kosher meat. Their prices are reasonable, not inflated like the kosher butchers in Boca Raton. I am paying NY prices for kosher meat. Also their butchers are consistent. The meat is cut the same way every time I go there.

Had the experience of having Nan the cashier help an older person remember to put her credit card away, to zip up her pocketbook, put the receipt away, and put the groceries away in safe way. Nan went above and beyond what is expected of an enployee. It is a pleasure to see a kind caring person going above and beyond what is expected of her. I love how convenient this supermarket is! It's no Publix, it doesn't feel Ritzy or polished, but it has everything you need. When shopping for Pesach or any holidays, I'm confident that I can get most of what I need here. The sales are great and I feel that the prices are better than Publix or even Target. Having kosher meat, a kosher deli, wine section, frozen section, etc. is a game changer! It really makes this place a one stop shop for us.

Was at the store about 7:30 Saturday morning needing assistance at the deli. I waited for someone but eventually went to the front so an announcement could be made . After waiting again someone comes strolling from the back . I asked her if she worked at the deli . She said they were closed . When I pushed back , she said the slicers had to be assembled. I believe they were . Not once did she apologize during this interaction. She continued to vent her frustrations on me . Not very friendly & definitely not customer service oriented.
